Year round cabin on the North Shore of Big Spirit Lake. Fantastic for anyone (including pups!) looking to experience a taste of lake life or those who have a love for the outdoors. Boating? Yes. Swimming? Yes. Fishing? Yes. Pheasant Hunting? Yes. Duck Hunting? Yes.

We hope you come and stay with us! Note: Maximum of 6 guests, no large events as this is a tight knit family community and guests are expected to be respectful of neighbors & neighborhood.

Summer Vacation

Cabin was clean the entire layout was impressive. Great atmosphere and fantastic views of Big Spirit Lake. Lexi (host) was great. She made the entire experience easy, convenient and comfortable. We will be back next summer!!

North Shore was perfect for us!

Not only did the VRBO have everything we needed, we learned in town that we were on the “quiet lake” and that was a perfect match for us! The neighbors were friendly, and passing boats were respectful of not making huge wake that could topple our little kayak, plus, there was no screaming and engine revving which we heard on West Okoboji when we were dining at the Okoboji Store! We were also very appreciative of how friendly and responsive our VRBO owners were!

Wonderful Lake Home

This lake home was beautiful! Nearly everything was brand new or updated, and we really appreciated the thoughtful extra amenities from our host. Our communication with them was exceptional, making us feel incredibly welcome and at home.It was the perfect spot for a wonderful family vacation, with something for everyone. The younger kids loved the hot tub, and we enjoyed watching stunning sunsets from the dock.We highly recommend this peaceful retreat in a very welcoming community and would absolutely love to stay again!Thank you!

Girls Weekend!

We loved our stay in Spirit Lake last week, October 10 - 13th. 2024. Our host, Lexi was so easy to work with and answered any and all questions very promptly. Our Annual Girl's Trip has come to involve a night of BINGO, which Spirit Lake did not disappoint! The local VFW will never be the same after us girls laughed our way through each Bingo card. We weren't winners, but we sure had fun!!! The next day we enjoyed biking around Lake Okoboji, the hot tub in the evening, relaxing around the firepit, shopping the next day and just enjoying the VRBO house and especially just sitting out by the waters edge of Spirit Lake outside our house. We truly enjoyed our Girl's weekend and highly recommend Lexi's place!

Cozy cabin by the lake

Looks exactly like the pictures do. We unfortunately had some unexpected issues come up unrelated to the cabin so only had one full day there but we enjoyed sitting in the screened in porch having lunch while visiting with family and enjoying the beautiful view of the lake. We have stayed in this area of the lake before and it is very quiet and peaceful.

Absolutely Perfect!!!

This was a get away for my family but I also have family who live around Spirit Lake so I was able to see them as well. The cabin was perfect for our needs and loved, loved, loved the screen in porch...that is where we spent most of our time. Lexi was great touching base with us to see if we needed anything at all. Would definitely stay here again!

Family Lake Week

This location is just as described. Beautiful, quiet location with easy access to fun and nightlife. Clean with everything you might need. I cannot recommend this place enough. You’ll love it!

Great time on Big Spirit Lake

We have an amazing stay at Lexi’s property. It was just as described. She was responsive with communication and helpful with providing tips for the lake and area. The fire pit was great. The hot tub was clean and functional. We enjoyed the screened in porch to keep away from the bugs. We brought our boat with us - and the ramp nearby was easy to use. The lake is big so winds can be a bit of an issue. But we were very surprised by how open it was on a Saturday in July, without a lot of boats on the water. We will definitely be back.

This is It

We’ve been looking for a place like this for years. We finally found it. Sipping coffee in the screened porch and watching sunrise over the lake. Biking on nearby trails and then sitting in the hot tub. Having our golden retriever Bailey with us on vacation! Beautiful home with everything we need to be comfortable and “at home.” Now you’ve found it too.
