Escape to Galveston's quiet West End and enjoy one of the island's most peaceful beach communities. Located in Karankawa Beach, our family-friendly beach house is just a short walk from the sand and offers beautiful beach and bay views from multiple decks, including a unique crow's nest lookout.

The home sleeps up to 8 guests and features three bedrooms, three full bathrooms, and an open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area with vaulted ceilings and plenty of natural light.

The primary suite includes a king bed, private bathroom, and patio access. The second bedroom offers a queen bed and patio access. The third bedroom features full-over-full bunk beds that are perfect for families and groups.

Spend your mornings watching the sunrise over the Gulf, your afternoons enjoying one of Galveston's less crowded beaches, and your evenings taking in spectacular views from the crow's nest deck.

Guests enjoy high-speed WiFi, Smart TV streaming, a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, multiple outdoor seating areas, and family-friendly amenities including a Pack 'n Play, high chair, and safety gates.

Property and location were great. Only complaint was the master balcony door frame was warped to where the door would not close all the way letting warm air in. We ended up stacking pillows against the door and that helped keep the heat out.

2nd time around

This was our 2nd time staying there. Besides a few electrical problems ( that was a big inconvenience), couldn’t figure out the lights, TVs, coffee maker was dirty and ice machine wasn’t working or we couldn’t figure it out. Short on towel’s in master. But I’m not a searcher, in others peoples home. It was like the first time everything was perfect they checked it before we arrived and this time, the helpers slipped, half did.

We had a lovely stay here. Host was quick to respond and check in was smooth. All rooms were clean and beds are comfortable. We cooked our meals and kitchen was stocked with pots, pans and utensils we needed. Just bring your own food. Place is walking distance to beach. I liked the quietness and location of house. It’s a 20-25 min drive into Galveston which we drove to get ice cream in the evening.

We chose Karankawa Beach because it offers one of the most peaceful and relaxing beach experiences on Galveston's West End. Unlike some of the busier areas of the island, this neighborhood is known for its quieter atmosphere, easy beach access, and no vehicle traffic along the shoreline.

Guests love being able to take a short walk to the beach, enjoy morning sunrise walks, spend the day by the water, and return to a quieter setting at the end of the day.
