Beautiful Views and Good fishing

Stayed here for 4 nights with family (6 of us) it was great. The upstairs area is nicely updated and there was plenty of room. The balcony off the living room area had such a beautiful view of Copano Bay and we could watch the family fish from up there or from many of the outside sitting options down on the ground floor. Fishing was amazing and we saw dolphins multiple times through our stay. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. For the price, this place is great.

Over all, we enjoyed our stay, and the home’s layout was great with 3 full baths. The ground level has 2 areas with 2 beds in each, a restroom in the larger room and access to the outside. The ground level has a spiral stair case in the small area between the two rooms leading to the upstairs living room. The house was clean except the living room rug, which looked dingy with a good size stain. The kitchen’s faucet “cold” handle was broken and just placed on top as if it was in tact. Disappointing to have to take picture and send to the manager knowing that the cleaning crew should have known about it and had the owners repair it. Since they have a late check in time at 4 and by the time you arrive, unload and start using things to notice anything wrong, it’s no longer during work hours so you don’t get a call or text back till the next day wanting to repair and enter home. Well with only a 2 night stay we really didn’t want people having to enter home making repairs. Another con was the fact that they only left one towel/wash cloth for each. Even though the washer and dryer is a great addition, you don’t really want to wash every day for a clean towel. No beach towels. The pet friendly home was a definite plus! A lot of seating outside. I suggest if you’re going to use the jacuzzi, to turn it on immediately on arrival or see if manager can have it on. It wouldn’t heat pass 84’ and had to call and place work order. Next day, I was told it can take 12 hrs to heat.

What a view!

This property was absolutely beautiful. It had so much space for our family and our friends. The view was absolutely outstanding. We loved being on the water watching the dolphins in the morning and the sunsets at night. Would highly recommend.

Rockport getaway

The house was awesome as was the location. The fishing was great and we had a great time! The only issue we had was dog hair and the power went out twice. Other than that we very much enjoyed our stay!!!

overall, it was a nice vacation.. and ower is rally kind and rally fast answer when I asked something. nice and clean property. The only thing I wish....I caught only a few fishes but I understand this is not the property owner can do.

We chose this property for our fishing vacation and reviews of the property. We would NOT stay here again. The fishing at this location was HORRIBLE, there wasn't a fish cleaning table as was shown in the pics (wasn't needed anyway) there were not enough towels/wash cloths, had to do laundry daily and the washing machine leaked all over the floor and to the underside of the house. The door lock to the downstairs did not work and had to be unlocked from the inside, and the septic system odor outside was HORRIBLE, however, the property management sent someone out right away to clean out the septic tank. And lastly, the bbq pit was so rusty, it could not be used. Luckily we had taken our own. Other than these issues, the property was clean.

Mold, rats and a cold showers!

There was mold in the downstairs bathroom as well as the bedroom. It was literally coming out of the walls. There was rat poop in 3 out of the 4 beds downstairs when we pulled the blankets back. We found trash in the house from previous guests and the dish town in the kitchen on the counter was folded. When we unfolded it it was dirty with food stuck to it. The shower downstairs does not get hot at all and everyone had to shower upstairs or take a cold shower. The hot tub was half empty when we arrived and once we filled it up it never got warmer than 94 degrees while we were there so it wasn’t really usable in the 50 degree weather. We used the dryer to wash towels and clothes from the first day and it took 5 cycles for the dryer to dry 1 small load of clothes. The blankets in each room are thin. All around this property needs a new game plan, a deep clean, it needs to have the mold removed from downstairs so no one gets sick and overall it just needs to reassessed by seller and property manager so no one else has the experience we had.

Nice house. Great pier on Copano Bay.

Nice house, clean, well maintained. Great pier facing north on Copano bay with really nice fishing lights. Only caught a few fish but really beautiful sunsets. Rockport is a cute town 20 minutes away, or the quick ferry ride to Port A is always worth the trip.
