Sandy Cove - Goodyear Lake - Sandy Cove has a unique location on Goodyear Lake. It sits on two private acres, giving you and your family privacy. There is a large front yard ending in a private sandy beach on the waterfront. This is very user-friendly for small children. There is a dock for swimming and fishing. This is an ideal area for paddle sports!

Sandy Cove enjoys a large multi-level deck overlooking the yard and waterfront. This waterfront home has several features to enhance your vacation: a hot tub, multilevel deck, kids’ play fort, sandbox, basketball hoop, and sand volleyball court.

This home was renovated recently, which included a new kitchen with granite countertops, an addition with a master bedroom suite, and new hardwood floor in living room.

Canoe and kayak rentals are available in the area. Sandy Cove is convenient to Cooperstown Dreams Park and youth baseball tournaments in Oneonta.

Terrific stay at Sandy Cove!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Sandy Cove! The house was clean and well maintained. The yard and lake access were PERFECT for our younger kids making the trip. This spot worked great for our son's trip to All Star Village. We truly enjoyed our visit and would highly recommend Sandy Cove!

🌟 Magical 🌟

I cannot say enough good things about this home. It is like out of a story book! The private dock with boats and fishing rods were a highlight for everyone. The sand volleyball/badminton court was also a hit! When we were not at the baseball fields we were enjoying our time on the water. Shelly is an amazing host and has thought of literally everything to make you feel at home and in luxury! The beds are all very comfortable and the house was FULLY stocked and so clean! My family made so many magical memories here that we will never forget!!

Home for the week!

Despite several days of rain, we couldn't have loved our week at Cooperstown more - which we fully attribute to our stay this beautiful lakefront property. The home was immaculate and incredibly well-stocked with everything you could need for week away. The location was perfect - peaceful, scenic and a short drive to Allstar Village. The owners were welcoming, and readily available if we needed anything. The sun finally came out at week's end and we were able to grill, play volley and tether ball, and canoe/paddle on the lake. 10 out of 10! My younger son is counting the days until we can return to Sandy Cove when he is 12!

Sandy Cove is a fantastic place to stay

The photos of the property are great, but do not do Sandy Cove justice. The house is spacious and super clean. Where else are you going to find a full 3 bath place to stay for this price in Cooperstown? The outside is even better. A private lot with a great view of the lake, a private dock for fishing. The kids and I loved touring the lake in the paddle boat! The sand volleyball/badminton court was a hit with my daughter with some friendly competition between Cooperstown games. And last, the hot tub was a nice place to relax after a long day back and forth to the ball fields. You can’t go wrong with Sandy Cove!

Overall great place!

This rental has everything you need! Kitchen is stocked, and the house contains all the extras you need. Very clean, comfortable beds, and great location in relation to All Star Village. The lake was nice, and the kids enjoyed fishing, and taking the boats out for a ride. Homeowners were very helpful and responsive when needed. I would highly recommend this home, and we will be looking to rent again when we come back in a few years!

Beautiful Home

We are a family of 8 however only 5 of us went on this trip. We rented a larger home in case the others would’ve been able to attend the trip with us. The home was very clean, well equipped, and a peaceful location. The owners greeted us by text and were very informative. The kids loved the paddle boat, the row boat and being able to fish off of the pier. The hot tub was great for relaxing after long days at the ballpark. I highly recommend this property!

Great cabin

We really enjoyed our stay. Everything is exactly as pictured in the description and pictures!! It has everything you could possibly need!! I have never stayed in a property that was so completely stocked in the kitchen!! And the kitchen is extremely nice and fully updated such a big deal for someone who is ocd!! The grill also works great! The cabin is 15 mins from dreams park.The only drawback to that is the grocery store is a mile in the other direction of the park but it was not a big deal. There is a gas station between the property and the park, good for ice ect. It feels private even though there are other properties on either side. My kids enjoyed the volley ball sand court, basketball goal and the paddle boat! The master is extremely comfortable and the bathroom is great. The spare bedroom right next to it is also comfortable. The one thing I didn’t notice from the initial pics was the bathroom set up in the bedroom off the living area. The shower is quite small as well as the toilet and sink area. Good for children or teens but not really for adults. We had my in-laws staying with us so they showered in the bathroom next to the laundry since it is a tub shower combo and bigger. Not anything that would have kept us from renting the property just good to know. I would recommend that guest bedrooms need blackout curtains, the sun comes up awfully early!! I would highly recommend Sandy Cove! So much nicer than many of the properties we viewed!!
