The house was exactly as described and just what all our families needed for our stay during Cooperstown week! House was clean and all was available that was shown in amenities. The only issue was the grill was pretty dirty that we had to clean it very thoroughly to use it and we could have use at least one big pot for cooking. Thanks for the hospitality, we would definitely recommend for families to stay.

Dreams Park Siblings

This house was large enough for 4 families to stay while the boys played at Dreams park. Quick 11-12 min drive to the park. Plenty of room to spread out and the siblings loved the bunk room, game room and big backyard. The adults loved having beers on the sunporch and grilling out.

Loved This House!

This house was everything we hoped for and more. Beautiful decor, clean, and spacious. We were there for our Cooperstown week and it accommodated 6 adults and 3 kids (kids only 1 night). No issues with the house! AC worked great (although we didn’t really need it), kitchen was updated and stocked, washer/dryer worked great, plenty of space, privacy, and bathrooms. If you like an older house with renovations (but the character remains) this house is for you. Absolutely loved it. Right around the corner from the Cooperstown Bat factory and that was fun to visit, too.

Close to both baseball parks!

Great 5 bedroom house, beautiful yard and plenty of parking in the cute town of Hartwick, just about 10 min drive from Cooperstown. A/c in each room. Comfortable sleeping even in HOT humid weather. Great for baseball families or just a vacation. Highly recommend.

Great house for the whole family!

My son competed in the general Clinton canoe regatta, and we needed a place to stay for our extended family coming from Michigan. This place was perfect and we absolutely loved the little entertainment area upstairs with the shuffleboard. The house was very clean and in a great location! Suited or needs perfectly! Great space outdoors too! Unfortunately we didn’t have very good weather to take advantage of the porch and bonfire area but we could see taking advantage of it if we come back next year and the weather’s better!

The house was clean and comfortable. We had a very good time. The only suggestions would be to have larger pots and frying pans available for larger groups.

Great stay for a large group.

We had plenty of room, pillows, and towels. The kids LOVED the playroom. We did find we were running out of dishes. The 4 adults (my husband and my parents) all would have preferred a drip coffee maker to the cup machine. There were a lot of kcups available but they were mostly flavored and we just like simple black dripped coffee.

Family weekend

Wonderful large comfortable farm house with room for the entire family. Firm but soft beds gave us all several good nights rest. The hot water was adequate. The kitchen, dining and TV rooms were very comfortable spaces. Parking was easy and convenient. Neighborhood Watch provided by a Ginger cat and the rooster doesn’t crow too early!

Great place for a quiet stay.

Overall the house was better than we expected. My recommendation would be provide storage for clothes and additional pots and pans. I would definitely book again!

The Bird House Of Hartwick

The house was clean and well set up. Everybody had a comfortable room and plenty of bathrooms which is a huge plus. Very well located to attractions you would be going to in the area. The host was very quick to respond and communicated well. Definitely recommend for families or groups to stay together. We like the bird theme through out the house also.

Cooperstown with friends and family

Had a great stay at this place in Hartwick. Easy access to All-Star Village and the town of Cooperstown. Very clean, accurately described. The boys enjoyed playing shuffleboard and cornhole. We also enjoyed the playground around the corner for the younger child in our group. Highly recommend. Easy to deal with. Great stay!

Cooperstown Families

This was a perfect house while we went back and forth to Dreams Park. We definitely felt like we were at a home away from home. It was very comfortable and super quick 11 minute drive to Dreams Park!

Gorgeous get away

We had a large family we shared a house with for Cooperstown and the house had more than enough bedrooms that everyone got a bed. The laundry room was my favorite part it was big and had a folding table which was awesome a home owners dream. The backyard had a nice pit and we made s’mores throughout the week. Communication was great and we had a wonderful stay.

We Had a Wonderful Stay

We stayed 2 nights over Columbus Day weekend and had a wonderful time. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the owners provided plenty of towels. The house was beautifully decorated with a charming blend of new and old. There were even baskets with toiletries in case something was forgotten. Our teenage boys really enjoyed the shuffleboard game. We didn't get to enjoy the outside of the property because of the rain but the fire pit and cornhole looked inviting. It was less than 15 minutes to Main Street Cooperstown. We would stay here again in the future.

Great house, short drive to CDP

We were invited last minute to play at Cooperstown and booked literally the day before we arrived. Owner had the house ready to go in <24 hours. Owner was super responsive and property manager was there at the drop of a hat if we needed anything. About 12 mins to the CDP on an nice country road. Note that there was no cell service at the house. Great WiFi but you will lose service if you happen to be on a call while driving to/from the house.
