A roomy quiet private duplex. Located on a cul de sac area with limited traffic

The garage connected duplex allows lots of privacy and has a quiet cul de sac entrance with limited traffic. There is a back private patio to enjoy the beautiful sun rise off the Blue Mountains and sometimes get a visit from the local deer and pheasants/grouse. Also,Located within the neighborhood is a north and south walking/jogging/dog walking park with each side a 1/2 mile long. You are blocks away from all the local tourist sights, restaurants and Pendleton Convention Center. There is also a playground at the park for the kids and a private tennis court area to play basketball and roller skate. Need to attend a family school function all the schools are close and traffic is quick and easy.

Good place to stay in Pendleton

We are getting back to our annual trips to visit our family in Pendleton and it was a good place to stay in a quiet neighborhood, it was comfortable and dog friendly, easy access to downtown and I-84 (recommend Emigrant Springs 30 min east in the Blue Mountains). We plan to keep this place in mind to stay at the next time we are in the area. Thank you!

Wonderful home away from home

This was the best home away from home vacation. The house was clean, super homey and conveniently located. It was great for all ages that were there and had some activities for kids handy and super pet friendly. We would book it again in a heartbeat. The host was so helpful and responded quickly when there was a question. She even helped us book an extra night because we loved being there. Fully recommend this place.

Lovely Stay

It was a joy to stay here. It was quiet and comfortable. With the extreme heat we enjoyed the cool respite. The outside patio was our morning and evening spot to be. The kitchen was well stocked! Overall a sweet spot for anyone looking for a casual and comfortable place to stay. Paula was attentive and easy to communicate with. I would return if I find myself back in the area.

Awesome house

The house was super clean. Everything you needed was there. Nice neighborhood in a quiet culdesac. Kitchen had everything you needed. Had nice coffee and all condiments. Simple staples provided to cook with such as sugar and flour and spices. Definitely highly recommend!

Amazing hosts

We were able to check in on time, but found the washing machine wouldn’t start. The host came over and showed us what was happening, and also brought wasp spay for the nests in the back yard. Very helpful and accommodating.

Good location and roomy!

Overall stay was great for our family, quiet and great location, great size and comfortable space. It was well equipped with necessities. It is an older Duplex but cozy. Only two minor suggestions would be to turn the heat on prior to guests arriving atleast to 67-68, it was 60 degrees when we arrived and it took a few hours for the heating unit to actually register. Host responded very quickly on suggestions on how to get it to register, once we couldn’t get it yo move. Other minor suggestions is to have a few more washcloths, there were only two bathroom washcloths and no kitchen sponges/washcloths. Would stay here again.

Our stay

Overall house is decent. Probably a better stay in the cooler months due to AC not keeping bedrooms cool. Sleeping in the hot bedrooms was tough. Living room stayed nice and cool though. Communication at check in wasn’t good. Took a few calls and texts to finally get the door code to get in. The bathroom only had basically 1 roll of toilet paper and no extra. Communication to get more took over 24 hours so we bought our own. Overall we had a great time in town.

Dustin thank you for your comments. I apologize for the door code as I did not let my fingers finish walking in texting it to you early. I had thought it was completed until you contacted me, of which I am so glad that you did. Again, we are sorry for the delay in getting the TP, I did not know that our extra had done some walking, but thankful our friend was able to respond the next afternoon. We will be getting another cooling unit located into the house after this season. We recognize that these climate changes are hotter then we anticipated. We hope to see again.

We are a family who has lived here all our lives within the Greater Pendleton areas. I grew up the river in the Meacham Creek area and I am a tribal member of the Umatilla and Yakama tribes. My husband is a Pendleton local and grew up working many of the historical farms and graduated Oregon State University. We have Six kids, and six grandchildren who have allowed our retirement years fun and excitement.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

This property is a very important piece of our legacy as it was our first property purchased and three our kids grew up in this wonderful neighborhood. It is a nice duplex that connects by the garages and you have privacy in the back with the views of the Blue Mountains and many nights get visited by the local neighbors the deer and quail. The proximity to everything in the Pendleton area is minutes, but allows for a country like setting.

Quiet street with limited traffic and noise. Country like setting but close to a quick trip for snacks, food or a beer.
