If you are looking to take your family on a vacation that will be not only loads of fun but filled with plenty of opportunities to teach your kids about U.S. history without having them feel like they are learning anything, you need to visit Williamsburg, Virginia. Now, you are going to want a great place to stay that has everything any vacationer could ever want, and that place is Hilton Vacation Club The Historic Powhatan Williamsburg. Here you will find all of the comforts of home, as well as a beautiful resort that is ideal for guests of all ages. With so many things to do you never have to leave the resort.
We've combined two, two-bedroom units to form this gigantic four bedroom/four bath family townhouse. Enjoy the convenience offered by these two two-bedroom condo units combined into a large four bedroom or use them separately. They are joined by a central private entrance way. Two king size master suites, queen and twin bed guest units and two kitchens and dining rooms. The two living areas each have a fireplace, and each has a sleeper sofa.

Prepare those family meals in two well-appointed kitchens each equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. Additional in-unit amenities include cable television, DVD player, laundry facilities with a washer and dryer, iron/ironing board and telephone.

Wonderful place for family

We had a family of 12 stay in a four bedroom unit for four nights. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The staff took care of all of our needs from maintenance to housekeeping. The amenities were wonderful. We had a great time.

We are 3 friends who like to take short trips. We look for a spot we can play cards. We also like to each have a restroom. Your place met our needs and was very nice.

Williamsburg resort

The grounds are well maintained, the rental was well equipped with everything you need in the kitchen! We stayed with family, having the joined units was really nice. Every room was clean and beds comfortable. Great location to get around. We had a minor issue, maintenance came right away and resolved. It happens and wasn't a big deal. The indoor pool was so crowded that we couldn't get in, it was at capacity, disappointing but not the fault of the host. The mini golf was nice.

The Powhatan Resort is fabulous - we would definitely stay there again. The grounds were absolutely beautiful in late May. We did have a few maintenance issues with the Berkley, and brought to management's attention. Management was prompt in replying and very pleasant. A few of the issues could not be remedied during our stay, such as rotted patio door framing in upper unit (hinge disconnected) and toilet not filling in upper unit (needed float unit replaced). Other issues involved burned-out lightbulbs and the cleanliness of the lower unit bathroom. We rented as a VRBO, so the one recommendation we have is that the unit owners provide basic condiments for the kitchen (salt, pepper, cooking oil). We purchased and had to throw it all away when we left. All in all, the unit was perfect for our needs. We could have spent our entire time in the resort playing mini golf, tennis, swimming, strolling and just relaxing. And, oh, the Coffee Shop was lovely!
