We came to Whidbey Island for my annual Birthday/Girls trip. This house was perfect! Plenty of space for 7 adults amd a fun spacious layout with the 3 floors. Minutes from Langley and an easy drive up to Coupleville, Oak Harbor, and Deception Pass. We had deer in the neighborhood each day and often in the side yard. The beds were comfy, the neighborhood was quiet, there was a good assortment of games/cards/puzzles, and the kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans/utensils, etc. The views to the water were lovely, especially with a coffee or tea on the porch in the morning. Communication with the owners was swift, easy, and they were very nice and helpful. 10/10 would stay again...and hope to in the future! I didn't get nearly enough of the island.

Wonderful island stay

We had a wonderful island vacation. The house felt roomy, even with all eight of us. The kids had a fantastic time exploring the many toys and books available to them. When asked what he liked best about our vacation, my three-year-old responded "the toy closet" at the vacation house.

Great house for family

Our family really enjoyed the amenities at this house. The kitchen was well stocked, we had everything we needed to cook during our stay. The bedrooms were large and easily accommodated our group. And the best part for our family, with 2 small children, was the toys and games. The grandkids were thoroughly occupied with all new toys of all sorts. It was a nice quiet neighborhood in a good location.

Very family friendly

We were so amazed at the amount of kids stuff available for use! Our kids ages 14m-4y had so much fun with all the toys and slept great in the cribs. It was very nice to be able to pack light. They also loved watching all the deer in the neighborhood. We will be coming here again for more family trips in the future!

Just what we wanted

The property was great for our families to spend time together. There were some quirks - fans in the bathrooms not turning off, some strange electrical things, the downstairs bathroom doors don't latch right, & dishwasher doesn't clean dishes. All else was good

Family friendly home

This was a great house for our family, including two small children. The house was clean, comfortable, quiet and beautiful, with everything we needed. There were so many fun toys for our two grandchildren, ages 2 and 4. We were close to Fort Casey and lots of other parks, and also close to grocery stores and the towns of Langley and Freeland. We had a fun family weekend!

Jon & Jenna graciously allowed us early access which was extremely helpful as we were trying to take advantage of a 5p low tide for clam digging at Double Bluff. The code didn't work to get in, but Jenna & Jon responded very quickly, and they got issues worked out with the finicky app.5 of us ladies stayed 2 nights and were delighted by an eagle show as parents were teaching a youngster to fly in the nearby trees. The view from the top floor is the best, with Cascade mountain tops peeking through to the east. The house is conveniently located to many scenic and activity-filled areas. We hiked Ebey's Landing (a must-see/do!) on Day 2 and the weather was beautiful--the beach is great for agate-hunting. Langley is full of fun shops and restaurants, along with gorgeous views of Camano Island & the Cascades. Just up the hill from the ferry in Clinton is a yarn shop called Skein & Tipple that has a speakeasy in the back--so much fun!Minor issue--the cleaners could do a more thorough job in the kitchen, esp inside drawers & on the countertops, but overall, everything was great--ample room for dining, games, and comfortable group conversations and plenty of BRs & BAs. Wish we could've stayed longer!

Orca Adventure

It was excellent. I didn't realize that all the bedrooms were either upstairs or downstairs. So if someone has stairs this isn't for you . It worked out well for us. It was such a great location that the grandkids, ages 4,6,9 were able to play outside unsupervised. They loved the deer each morning and the wooded area behind the house. It was a great location to the beach and other short adventures. Also the one upstairs bedroom did not have air-conditioning fortunately it was cool enough we didn't need it.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

We fell in love with Whidbey Island over many visits as a couple. We bought this place as a home-away-from-home for our family and friends.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Perfect for multi-family trips, the house is large and features multiple living areas, as well as bedrooms distributed across multiple floors. The 3 main bedrooms all have en-suite, plus closets that double as nurseries for younger kids, or fun sleepover caves for older ones.
