Il y a une rampe de mise à l'eau située à côté de la maison pour le lancement de votre bateau ou de votre motomarine. Un quai privé est situé à seulement 15 m de la maison pour garer votre bateau ou votre motomarine pendant votre séjour. Vous pouvez faire des excursions d'une journée à Biltmore House, Mt. Mitchell (sommet le plus élevé à l'est du Mississippi), montagne Grandfather, Chimney Rock, Linville Falls, Boone, Blowing Rock et Table Rock. Vous pourrez non seulement profiter du lac James au printemps et en été, mais aussi admirer le magnifique feuillage d’automne. The property and house were amazing. Beautiful lake view! The hosts were outstanding and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. great get away

we had a great weekend; the owner was super to work with and she was available if i had any questions. A huge + is having the boat landing right beside the property, this allows you to drop the boat and pick up without traveling to a boat landing. super clean, many personal touches.

Great location!

Excellent home with great access to lake. Enjoyed the deck in the mornings for coffee. Especially liked that we were able to put our boat in at the house instead of going to marina. Very clean..nice beds and linen. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook in.. can opener needs replacing Pat😉 Would definitely return💕

Pat was great to correspond with and made sure we had everything. Gorgeous place , easy to get to with all the amenities you could want. Very private with a great dock and pier for fishing which we did everyday. My wife , kids and grandchild loved it. We will come back

Perfect spot on the lake

Before we even arrived communication with Pat was clear and helpful. When we arrived at this property it was perfectly clean and the view was just breathtaking. An absolute perfect property for a family as there was tons of entertaining space on the deck and the dock. Pat was gracious to let us use the lily pad and my three little girls loved it. Normally we feel like we need a pontoon to fully enjoy the lake but staying here we found that we mostly wanted to stay and swim off the dock and enjoy this perfect little spot.

Lake house Gem

This lake house is better than pictured. It was spic and span clean with all the necessities. Unbeatable views from inside the house and from the deck. The dock and boat ramp are super convenient if you bring a boat or jet ski. Pat is a superb host, very accommodating and considerate of her guest’s comfort and experience. Wifi was finicky but that’s not uncommon with mountain and lake properties. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have already recommended this property to others!!

Stunning Home

My husband and son who is 6 years old had a great time. The home is immaculate with stunning views of the lake. The location of the home beside the private boat landing made it super easy with our ski boat. Pat was wonderful to work with and communicated with us quickly. The boat dock with floats were a plus!! We had an incredible time and we will be back. Would encourage this rental to anyone! Especially if you have a boat or jet skis with the private dock. You just can’t beat it!

Relaxing lake house

We enjoyed our time at this Lake James house. Such a wonderful space inside with huge windows with lake views in the living room and kitchen. The large upper deck and seating at the dock bar were such awesome places to dine or have a drink. The house is located on a quiet end of the lake with views of Big Island. Perfect place to kayak. The boat dock was perfect for our ski boat. The owners offered us the use of a lily pad which the kids loved using while they went swimming off the dock. Communication with the owner was easy and excellent and she was very kind. The kitchen was great for cooking and 2 burners on the gas stove were more than adequate. Bedrooms and bathrooms worked well for the 5 of us. We hope to come back to this great location on the lake.

Beautiful location

The time away from home and this location were just what my husband and I needed. The view of the lake from the house is stunning and the quiet was wonderful. The house was clean, the master bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen was well-stocked. The host was easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed. This is definitely a place we will consider returning to.

Great property - what a fun weekend!

Pat is a great host; very helpful and provided great communication. Beautiful location on Lake James, quiet and peaceful, really enjoyed morning coffee on the deck. Tons to do; including hiking, Lake James State Park, Blue Ridge Parkway and checking out the historic buildings and park in Morganton. Would stay there again.

Great location, poor privacy and poor internet

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The views are gorgeous and the lake house is very cute. Loved the patio and the dock. However, there were couple things that we didn't like and could be addressed by the host in the future: 1. Internet. The house is advertised as having wifi. However, the router is in the homeowners garage, and there is an extender in the lake house. The signal is very poor, and we had to ask the host to reboot the router daily.. Eventually, we ddisconnected the extender and connected to the main network, which was a bit more reliable, from two spots in the house. My daughter tried to work remotely and it was a pain. An easy resolution could be investing in a Google Nest wifi, and having a mesh network with two routers. 2. Privacy. There are two bathrooms in the lake house. One is in the master bedroom, with NO DOOR, and another is in the hallway, with a thin door with no latsh and seams. For a family of 6 people I'd want more privacy... 3. Kitchen. The gas range has only two spaces, and one of them barely heats. Cooking breakfast for a family of 6 took forever. These issues can easily be fixed with some investment, considering the price per night they charge...

Family Vacation

My family and I enjoyed this home on the lake. Pat is very easy to talk with and will help you in any way if needed. We enjoyed fishing, swimming and sitting around the outdoor bar area. We would most definitely rent again!

We love lake James

Pat was a great host. The house was great. We were a little nervous about the rocky beach with our young children. But the community boat launch is right next the house and was very quiet all week. So we could play in the shallow water there. For the boaters, nice deep clean water at the dock. The spring lines did a perfect job keeping my boat off the dock if any boats were making waves. Again, launch right there and plenty of parking for my vehicles and boat trailer. Thanks for a great week Pat.
