Conveniently located just one block from downtown Middletown, this adorable & spacious cottage is perfect for your visit to south Lake County!

Set back behind the main house, this cottage has its own private side entrance & enjoys a cute courtyard patio & a small patio table.

Inside is spacious & comfortable with plenty of space to spread out, cook a meal, watch TV or just relax after a day of exploring.

The living area has a soft futon-style couch, which can sleep 1 small adult or potentially two small children. A room divider gives the feeling of a small bedroom, with a comfortable queen bed on the other side and plenty of storage cabinets underneath. A small desk provides an ideal spot if you need to get some work done while traveling.

The large kitchen offers all the kitchen essentials needed including a full size refrigerator, electric range/oven, microwave, a full set of cookware, dinnerware for a party of four, a coffee maker and even a small George Foreman grill. The dining table comfortably seats four.

The full bathroom has a tub/shower combo, vanity area, plush towels, hairdryer, and basic toiletries.

Wi-Fi is provided, along with a Roku television for streaming your favorite subscriptions.

There is a designated gravel parking space, or off-street parking.

Easy 2 min walk to downtown restaurants, grocery store, shops & coffee places! It's an ideal spot if you are heading up Hwy. 175 toward Cobb Mountain & Boggs forest, out to Harbin Hot Springs, or further north to Hidden Valley Lake, Lower Lake & Clear Lake. This property is located about 20-30 minutes north of Calistoga. For those wanting to visit Napa Valley, please note, you do have to drive over a windy, mountain road to get to Calistoga and the Napa Valley. We have many wonderful wineries here in Lake County and are happy to provide recommendations, if desired!

Please note - this cottage is on same lot as the front house (VRBO #29445456 - 2bd/2ba if you need more space) and while you have a private pathway down the side of the home and a private patio area, you are in somewhat close proximity of the main home. Please be courteous of other guests.

Also - there is a small school that borders this property to the rear. It is not viewable due to large fence, and it is quiet & empty in late afternoons-early mornings & on weekends. However for weekday day sleepers, you should be aware there is expected neighborhood noise that can be heard occasionally.

The queen bed is quite comfortable but the couch is a futon style - so isn’t as comfortable as a regular bed obviously. The futon is most suitable for kids.
