Ski getaway

This resort is in a perfect location, just steps away from gondola, shopping and dining. The condo met all our needs. It was clean, beds were comfortable. It was nice having washer/dryer in the unit. The resort was very accommodating with early check-in and late check-out. I would definitely stay here again.

Our vacation rental at Timber Lodge was a great experience. The communication with Vacation Candy was reliable, accurate, and timely. Our accommodations suited us perfectly, were spotlessly clean, and provided everything we needed for our stay. The staff was friendly and very helpful with our questions. Being just steps from the gondola made getting to the slopes a breeze and we appreciated the ski valet at the end of a long day of skiing. We will stay here again!

Great Accommodation & location

Loved the layout of the rooms and living area. Everytbing was very nice. Would definitely stay there again. Loved the central location. We were able to walk everywhere, even dinner every night.

Ideal all around

Sweet 3-room layout with bedrooms on either side of kitchen and dining/living room for different wake-up times. Gondola is right outside the building, adjacent to Timber Lodge ski valet. Very clean and updated rooms, lobby, and common areas. Valet wasn’t cheap but they were quick. Tons of great restaurants and shopping nearby!

Location, Location, Location

The lodge is at the base of the Gondola at Heavenly. Everything was so easy- dropping off car, checking in, ski storage etc. The listing was accurate and we enjoyed the property and used the fitness room. Guests respected the quiet time hours. Great Place!

Great Location

You cannot find a better location to stay if you want to be in town and have access to the Gondola. Walking distance to restaurants, Starbucks, and shops. The only other nice option is the other Marriot property next door. Rooms are nice and as advertised. Pool and hot tubs are great. Check in and check out can potentially have long lines so plan accordingly. Staff was very helpful.

Great Location but occupancy was incorrect

The Timber Lodge is always a great vacation spot. Its clean, centrally located and there is lots to do in the area. Unfortunately the listing was incorrect and rather than accommodating 8, our rooms could only sleep 7. Instead of 2 full size pull out beds, our room had one full size and one twin size. It would be beneficial to have the rooms specific details and photos for each listing, rather than a generic description for all 2 bedrooms at the Timber Lodge since all the room set ups can vary.

Incredible location, Lovely Property

You cannot get closer to the gondola loading. That was amazing. But beware, fresh snow comes with storms. Storms come with winds. Winds put the gondola at Heavenly on hold...A LOT. We were there for 6 days and every day the Gondola was on hold, either partially or closed the entire day. A bit of a bummer for how awesome the location is to that lift. The only options are to go to the California Lodge or Nevada side (Stagecoach/Boulder). Shuttle, Uber or your own car if you have one. Aside from that logistical annoyance, the location of this property is sweet. A block from the casinos, tons of retail and F&B within a stones throw, and of course Marriott does everything well. The concierge desk was very helpful throughout our stay. The 2-bedroom was actually two adjoined rooms, one large with full kitchen and living room and the smaller with it's own kitchenette. It's kind of a split floor plan, which was super nice for two single friends - we had our own areas, quiet from the other, and really loved that layout. I don't know if the listing stated that it was two rooms adjoined, but it was a nice surprise. Pro tip: check the calendar of events and you might find a free, delicious nacho bar at 4pm in the lobby. Score!
