Descansa Property Management, along with our entire team, has embraced Airbnb`s 5-step cleaning process to ensure the utmost cleanliness and safety for every guest.

Main Level:

Open floor plan encompassing the dining and living areas.
Spacious, well-equipped kitchen with gas range and appliances, complete with a bar space and stools – perfect for easing into your mornings and evenings.

Throughout the home, you`ll find captivating artwork by Portland artist Katy Jorgensen, available for purchase as part of Descansa Property Management`s Off the Wall initiative, spotlighting local talent.

Guests will revel in the entire home, while sharing laundry facilities with the tenant in the backyard. The property also accommodates a Tiny Home, fostering a shared space that requires mindfulness and respect from all guests.

Explore an array of superb restaurants, coffee shops, breweries, and distinctive local stores all within a leisurely walk. Immerse yourself in Portland`s iconic food cart scene and revel in live music at one of the three nearby venues. Enjoy simple access to other cherished Portland neighborhoods and iconic attractions.

Alberta St boasts an array of top-tier eateries, art galleries, bars, and shops. The Last Thursday street fair, occurring during summer months, transforms Alberta Street into a lively gathering, where local vendors, artists, musicians, and unique performers display their talents and offerings.

Our homes are equipped with a starter supply of household and bathroom items including body wash, shampoo, conditioner, dish soap, hand soap, toilet paper, and paper towels. These supplies are intended to get your stay off to an easy start, but we do not restock items during a guest’s stay. If something is missing upon your arrival, we are happy to remedy that though!

We only accept reservations made directly by the guests themselves. Bookings for third parties are not allowed. Your reservation must be made for your personal use and enjoyment. Thank you for understanding and respecting our policy

5 - Please turn off lights and lock all doors and windows when not at home.
6 - The number of guests on your reservation should reflect the number of guests staying in the home. Message us if this needs to be updated.
7 - Please do not have any mail or packages delivered to the home.
8 - Spring through Fall is the sugar ant season throughout the Pacific Northwest. Please store items accordingly and clean thoroughly after cooking and eating. Dispose of food waste promptly.
9 - Items left behind can be shipped to you at the cost of shipping + a $30 processing fee.
10 - Excess cleaning may result in an additional cleaning fee.
11 - Violation of house rules may result in eviction and/or monetary fine.

The host was very welcoming and quick to respond to questions. The house was cute and in a great neighborhood. A few issues as feedback are that it was very dark in the house when we arrived, it would have been nice to have a light inside so we could navigate and try to find other lights in the house. We couldn’t get the lamps in the bedroom to come on either. Also, the ice maker wasn’t working, we tried problem solving but with no luck. The shared backyard did not work out at all because our dogs were extremely distracted by the dog in the back house who barked a lot whenever we tried to use the yard. It is so great that you allow dogs, but wasn’t “dog friendly “ for us because we had to leash up our dogs and walk around the neighborhood whenever they needed to go potty. Even in the middle of the night. I’m sure these issues could easily be fixed or your home description updated in VRBO for your future guests.

The property was great, comfortable beds, clean. Location could not have been any better. Only reason for 4 stars is because check-in was delayed which conflicted with being able to get ready for a formal occasion once arriving into town. Otherwise a good stay.

Comfortable house in excellent location

Clean, airy and comfortable house in great location, right in the Alberta Arts District, a lovely residential/restaurant/shopping district of Portland. 20 minutes from down town, 15 minutes from the airport, and walking distance from a host of excellent restaurants. Host was responsive and helpful. Highly recommended.

Great stay!

Our family of three and two dogs enjoyed our stay very much. As others have mentioned, the property is in an excellent neighborhood with tons of great restaurants and cafes. The upstairs master was very spacious and had a separate work area for me, and the bed was very comfortable. The property management company was very responsive and kind. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Fun place in cute neighborhood

Family visit Alberta District

Clean, bright sunlit home in great neighborhood just off Alberta. Well stocked kitchen, good dining/board game area. Pet friendly. Could use at least one comfortable chair or settee in living area to accommodate four people; currently just has a three person sofa. Overall, a great place for meeting up with friends and family in Portland.

Great location, beautiful house

Communication with the owners was easy and they were responsive. The house is really beautiful and well laid out (except no tv in living room, which we didn't realize) The shower upstairs was a bit tricky, but they gave good instructions on how to get it working. The living room couch (which pulls out into a bed) was highly uncomfortable - i wonder if the owners have every sat in it? Other than those issues, I'd recommend!

Nice location

Place was nice and clean, comfortable bedding, quiet neighborhood, plenty of pot, pans, utensils, plates. Main complaint is the lack of TV in the main living space, only tv was in one of the bedrooms. The furniture also covered the only heating and cooling vent in the living room making that room cooler. No light left on to help us see getting into the house, even though we let them know we would be arranging after dark. No dish soap either.
