Unwind in our guest suite located on a lush one-acre hilltop property, tucked away on a private road. Enjoy beautiful mountain views while relaxing beneath a shady, extra-large, mature fig tree or around the fire pit area.
Spend time with our friendly chickens in their own large coop, or enjoy a peaceful swing beneath the fig tree. You’re just 25 minutes from the beach, 10 minutes from the San Diego Zoo Safari Park, and only 1.3 miles from Trader Joe’s. Or simply stay close to home and enjoy a scenic one-mile walk around the quiet neighborhood loop.

This was a wonderful place to stay—just the right size for what we needed. The location is peaceful and quiet, and the home had everything we could ask for while being out of town. Our stay at this charming Escondido cottage was absolutely wonderful! I visited with my daughter and two young granddaughters (ages 2 and 3) for a weekend wedding in San Marcos, and the location could not have been more convenient. The cottage was spotless, cozy, and beautifully maintained—complete with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.The property has such a peaceful atmosphere, with gorgeous views and thoughtful touches throughout. My granddaughters especially loved the swings, the friendly chickens, and saying “hello” to Mr. Phil, our gracious host. The fresh eggs were such a bonus!We truly enjoyed our time here and would love to return for another visit. Highly recommend this lovely retreat for anyone visiting the area!

Beautiful and just the right size

Beautiful rental for our family of 4. Short drive to San Diego Safari Park. The view from the patio and the fig tree with swings was so relaxing! Easy check in and out process, reserved parking spot. In very quiet residential area. Thanks again for the Easter goodies!
