My Second Home

Another great stay at this gem. My only complaint was hearing non stop barking from a neighboring property, otherwise my stay was perfect and will continue to use this gem as a home away from home.

University visit

Stayed here while visiting my daughter for week. Excellent location as it is right next door to university. Property is clean, well maintained and host was very quick to respond when booking. Will definitely look to stay again in future.

I could not be more pleased with my stay. The chalet was beautiful, quaint and had all necessities plus more. Perfect place to disconnect and relax! Highly recommended

Nice little getaway

Wish we would have been able to enjoy the space outside, it rained the whole time.... the unit is set up very nice, the back yard has the hot tub, separate deck, lots of furniture, and in a great location.

Very charming place, cozy and very well kept. The host is very attentive to your needs. They even shovel the snow in the porch for me. Very much recommend. Beware that there is a steep ladder to the bedroom who is on the second floor.

Relaxing retreat

I really enjoyed being on this property. The scenery was perfect. I enjoyed my coffee every morning by the creek. We enjoy the family barbecue and everybody thought it was awesome. Paul was exceptional. We will definitely be back hoping to be back in December. Thank you, Paul for all you did.

Beautiful space - just cold

The hot tub was great, and the place was very clean. I’m sure this place would be even better in the summer. However, the lack of heat in the entire downstairs was lacking for our winter getaway. The small space heaters helped a bit.

You were a great guest, and I only regret that your visit coincided with the January arctic blast that dropped temperatures to record lows all over the country, including Findlay! I'm sorry that the mini-split heating system and the two space heaters I provided weren't better able to defend you from the frigid temperatures.

Nice getaway!

Paul was highly communicative throughout the process. This is a great little spot - with everything (and I mean, EVERYTHING) nearby. We loved the loft bedroom and deck but could see how this could be an issue for some people. We enjoyed being on the UF campus and having downtown right down the street!
