Chalet By The Bay - Sleeps 12

This home located in Cape May Beach is just 1.5 blocks from the beaches of Delaware Bay. The home sleeps 12 and is dog friendly. Start your day with a walk on the beach and have breakfast on the wrap-around deck, enjoy dinner around the table or at one of the nearby restaurants, and then watch the most amazing sunsets on the East Coast. Book now risk-free and enjoy your stay.

The home features an oversized deck that wraps around 3/4 of the home. There is a large well-equipped kitchen and spacious bathrooms on both the first and second floor. The beautiful deck is furnished with enough seating for all guests. With a gas grill, private outdoor shower, and firepit just steps away, the outdoor space is a sure bet for relaxation and fun!

As our guest, you will have access and use of the entire house.

We are available from 8am to 8pm by text or phone

The home is located in a quiet community a short walk to the beaches of Delaware Bay and only 15 minutes from Historic Cape May and Wildwood. Wineries, distilleries and breweries nearby as well as wonderful restaurants.

A short walk to the beach but you`ll need a car or bike to see the rest of what the area has to offer and enjoy.

We provide bedding and bath towels. 4 Beach chairs. Propane BBQ Grill.
A pack and play ($25.00) and high chair ($10.00) per stay are available upon request.
No smoking in the house

My heart either rises or falls palpably at the first sighting of a property. Tension built as I watched the blue line of the GPS getting shorter and shorter, finally entering a quiet, pleasant neighborhood 2 blocks from the beach. I saw the number on the mail box, raised my eyes, and felt the upsurge in my chest. All seven of us--wife, 2 sons, daughter-in-law, and 3 grandkids (4,8,9)--felt the same. The door code was the last 4 digits of my phone number, which made it super easy to remember. The house was clean, flooded with light, ample wrap around porch with rockers to sit and drink coffee early in the morning and a table where we could eat a meal together outside if we wished. Inside, upstairs was a perfect fit for my older son's family: a large master bedroom and a second bedroom with bunks for their three kids. The kitchen was large, light, and had everything we needed to prepare meals. The silverware wasn't cheap, the knives were sharp, which is not the norm. My wife and I like to go on long walks early in the morning. From the house we could either walk the nature preserve or the bayside beach. It was a 20 minute drive to the ocean beach at Wildwood, 16 to Diamond Beach (whiich was less crowded. I had a few conversations with Chris, the host, who was always available to answer our questions.

Great size and space for 2 families with kids. Host was very responsive. Would recommend again.

A nice place, just away from Cape May centre.

The property is about 17 minutes from the main Cape May centre.When we opened the door, there was an overwhelming musty smell.The lighting was harsh and difficult to work out.There was one wine glass only.There was one bathmat for the 2 bathrooms.The lounge kept coming apart when we sat on it.The place was neat and tidy, enough sleeping spaceIt was okay, not great.

Quiet location

Spent a couple days here for my son’s graduation from USCG basic. It was a great location not too far from cape may. Large enough to accommodate our family. WellMaintained and clean home!

Excellent family getaway

A near perfect vacation rental for an extended family overnight. Clean, great beds setup, good kitchen. Very quiet neighborhood. Able to walk to the beach.

Best place to stay hands down!!

From the moment we booked the trip, Chris make sure we were top priority any questions was answered in a quickly manner. The house was amazing between the wrap around deck! Lights at night beyond peaceful. The bay thats not even 5 min walk had the best sunsets i have ever seen! It was 9 of us and we never felt over top of one another. Outdoor shower was a huge plus to get all that lovely sand away. We couldn't get over the place and location we stayed another night! 5+ star 🌟

Attentive Hosts with a Gorgeous Home!

Just wanted to publicly thank Chris for his attentiveness to our group of twelve’s stay this weekend. He not only responded quickly but was extremely considerate with the check in process and providing further house supplies upon request, hand delivered! The house is immaculate and the perfect venue to host a group of friends, from the large living room and couch area to the expansive deck with plenty of outdoor seating and gorgeous string lights for nighttime. The beach is a short walk away which made it all the more a great stay. Couldn’t have had a better stay I highly recommend!
