Come enjoy our expansive lakeside home for your family reunion, extended stay, or tranquil retreat. Take in the stunning view of Mount Rainer, fresh air, abundant wildlife, lake and forest. The peaceful setting guarantees a rejuvenating and memorable stay.

Settle in! The spacious open-plan great room features two sofas, a large dining table, and a well-equipped, highly social kitchen, with all you need to create fabulous meals and memories. Plenty of games, books, and puzzles to enjoy.

Golf at Chambers Bay, visit the Tacoma Glass Museum, explore Puget Sound on land or water, or take day trips to Seattle, Olympia or Mount Rainier. A half mile down the road, you’ll find a public park, playground and boat ramp, a convenience store, taqueria, and the neighborhood favorite Lake City Pub offering great food and unique cocktails. Safeway, Target, Starbucks, movies, restaurants and more are within 3 miles.
This home offers plenty of room for family gatherings and social activities, while anyone seeking some personal time or an early bedtime can easily escape to the bedrooms in a separate wing. The ground-floor primary bedroom features a second TV, fully accessible ensuite bathroom and attached office/laundry room. The three bedrooms upstairs include two additional workspaces, perfect if you need to squeeze in some work during their stay.

Enjoy indoor-outdoor living? Four sets of French doors open to a large ground-level deck for dining and lounging under a canopy of towering Gary Oaks and Douglas Fir. Grill up dinner on the gas barbeque. Enjoy games on the large, shady lawn, then stroll down to the private picnic beach in the most peaceful spot on American Lake. Encounter an abundance of bald eagles, blue heron, ducks, the occasional deer, and other wildlife visitors

THINGS TO KNOW
This is a peaceful neighborhood. Out of respect for the neighbors, parties or events involving guests not listed on the reservation are prohibited. Exceeding the guest limit or hosting parties on site may result in immediate termination of the rental agreement.

Rental of this space includes all areas of the property and home, with the exception of the garage, the basement and all rooftops. These areas do not provide emergency egress, and are strictly off limits at all times. Doorways to these spaces are to remain locked. Alternative emergency egress is provided through other exterior doors and windows on the main floor and via windows and emergency ladders provided in each upstairs bedroom.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.
