Great property with everything you need: comfy beds & a well stocked kitchen. The cottage is clean & nicely decorated. The amenities provided for outdoor entertainment are terrific i.e. kayaks, paddle boards, fishing rods. If stairs are a difficultly for you then this cottage may not be suitable. We enjoyed our stay & would definitely book again.

The lake access was excellent however it wasn’t noted that the area of the lake was very full of weeds and algae and better suited to boating than swimming. Grateful for the sup and kayaks available. The rental unit was bright and clean and extremely well appointed, the kitchen had everything we needed. For anyone travelling with gastro issues, having the toilet on the lower floor from the bedrooms might have an issue. Check in and out was smooth and convenient and the rental was easy to locate. Not entirely private but the neighbours were quiet and traffic on the lake was also very quiet. We greatly enjoyed our stay and would happily book again.

Cute spot on the narrows

A lovely little place in wine country, we had a fabulous time visiting some local wineries and some top notch restaurants.

Beautifull family getaway on the lake

Lovely spot

We had a lovely time - it was very quiet. On a daily basis great blue herons and double breasted cormorants would fly by, just in front of the dock. Also white swans would paddle by!We visited the nearby Sandbanks Provincial park which was beautiful with his dunes, beaches & woods.

Location and Privacy

This was an ideal place for us to stay. The location also introduced us to a portion of the county we might have other wise missed, which was very nice. The host was very accommodating and responsive. We plan to come back.

Well supported

County life near the water can throw you some curve balls especially in January. There were some events during the stay but the team supporting the property all did their best to address the issues that arose.The place is really cute, and the views are fantastic. The bed and linens were great. I would go back. The place is showing some wear due to the craftsmanship of the renovations.

Given a little TLC this would be a delightful place to stay.

Maybe septic tanks don't take laundry fabric softener, but the bath towels were very stiff and not pleasant to use, although a good size. A set of coasters would make worry about staining the woodwork less bothersome. When the wind blows in a certain direction there is unpleasant pollution all around the dock. This was the case for 4/5 days. The TV reception and the stations offered were great, the tap water very hot, and the manager extremely good at responding. I did not notice when booking that the toilet was on a different floor to the bedrooms. Since I am mid 80's and live in an apartment this was a challenge and the only major deterrent to returning for another visit.

An updated cottage right by the water. Great view, sunsets and easy to find. The kitchen is well equipped, comfortable beds and the cottage has everything one needs for an enjoyable stay. We stayed for 4 nights. Communication with Parker was excellent and the instructions clear. We plan to come back later this year. Really enjoyable break!!

This property was easy to find. Charming little cottage with a beautiful 180 degrees view of the lake from the living room. Lovely open concept on both levels. Everything you need is there. So peaceful.Plenty of wild life and you can see the fish in the water around the huge dock.Plenty of parking. Warm, considerate hosts.Wonderful place to vacation.
