Plan a family-friendly stay at our Grand Desert, a lush oasis just a mile from Las Vegas Boulevard. We are close to all the casinos, restaurants, and entertainment options that make Vegas famous, but our hotel was designed without an onsite casino to create a comfortable, welcoming retreat for families. Instead, we bring entertainment to you with 3 outdoor pools, a 3D movie theater, and 4 outdoor hot tubs.

Kick back and relax with massage therapists, a sauna, and tanning beds onsite. Lounge in a cool Vegas breeze at one of our poolside cabana rentals or have fun with the kids in the game room and movie theater. Stay committed to your routine at the fitness center, and take care of any work-related matters at the business center. Daily housekeeping services are also available for an additional fee.

Spacious resort condos feature WiFi, flat screen TVs, and a washer and dryer. Our 1 Bedroom Deluxe units are equipped with a king bed in the master bedroom and a sleeper sofa in the living area. A fully equipped kitchen allows you to cook dinner in the comfort of your own condo with plenty of room to spread out in the dining area.

NOTE:
Guest Checking in must be 21 or older.

A credit card is required for the $250 security deposit requested at check in.

Work

Very clean, secure, quiet, and comfortable. I was able to walk everywhere I needed to be (UNLV campus, restaurants, etc.). The fitness room was accessible and well-appointed. Check-in was a lengthy process with aggressive time-share bids, but EVERYTHING else was wonderful- -totally worth it!

Great place

We stayed at the Wydham Grand Dessert for a very busy weekend in Vegas. I have to say that I was a little scared because some of my friends had their stays cancelled by their host. But i have no issue with Luxorts’s property. They were very responsive and helpful with all my questions. The property was excellent, very confortable and clean. Great location close to the strip but without the noisy enviroment of the properties located at the strip.

Family Trip to Las Vegas

We were not looking forward to vacationing in Las Vegas near the strip. We wanted a low-key visit. That's why we turned to VRBO. We were very pleased with our service and the accommodations provided for our short family trip.

Fabulous stay!

The straight forward: - fabulous for all ages (SUPER accommodating for families; pools, big rooms, kids area and activities, etc)! - really close, easy walk to the strip (all less than 10 min walk). - lots of amenities and offerings on the property itself - everyone is incredibly nice! Downside: - you’ll be hounded at check in for a timeshare opportunity. All-in-all, I’d still stay here 100 times over and any time I have to come to Vegas! This will be my go to place now. I loved everything about the property and as much as I hate sales stuff, I’d still choose this over anywhere else. I came for a work conference that was at the MGM - a quick weekend trip. I walked there every time and it was a breeze. About 8 minutes in all. I stayed in a 1 bedroom suite in Tower 1 and it was AWESOME! It has literally everything you need and is like an apartment with so much space. Bed was really comfy and I slept like a baby! Can’t say enough good things!

Great stay, comfy beds

Very comfortable beds. The only issue that arose was when the Oasis Cafe made one of my $10 coffee drinks wrong vut they were busy and couldn't offer mucb help with how short staffed they were. It was disappointing because the drink ended up getting tossed early on. Then the tap machines went down and i didnt want to walk around the resort with my whole purse everytime i went out - but these are small issues. We did sit through a "timeshare" thing so we got some free tickets which was nice. But the showing went on for FOUR HOURS - not 90 minutes as they state in the beginning.

Vegas Wedding Weekend

The place was amazing! It was so nice to have an option for a kitchen and SUPER nice to be able to wash the dirty clothes before we went home! The room was so spacious and just all around a great place. Our friends who stayed in a hotel were super jealous 😆Looking forward to the next trip for sure! 10 out 10 would recommend! 💯😎

Perfect for the long weekend

We came in for a cheer competition. Listing was as advertised and perfect for a long weekend. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is just a short walk or Uber/Lyft from everything.

Wyndham Grand Desert

You get what you pay for. Room was quite dated, many coats of paint on baseboards, worn out shower, nothing modern about room or amenities, tv cable signals were weak. But it was quiet, off the strip and not expensive, relative to other options.

Shuttle:
The resort offers a free shuttle to and from the Las Vegas Strip. The shuttle is ran by a third party company, and its hours and service may vary. Please inquire about the shuttle's hours at the front desk upon arrival.

Bus:
Bus stops are marked by signs with the blue, white and gold RTC Transit logo; most have shelters. The most useful bus for tourists is the Deuce: named as it’s a double-decker bus, it travels the length of Las Vegas Boulevard from the BTC in the north to just by I-215 in the south, stopping in front of all major casinos. Deuces are often busy, especially at night.

Monorail:
The Las Vegas Monorail is now running a reliable service along Paradise Road and then behind the Strip. For direct tickets, go to the Las Vegas Monorail, (lvmonorail) site.

Taxi, limo, Uber and Lyft are other transportation options.

Resort amenities are available, except where prohibited by state or local mandate. Please note: Kids Clubs are temporarily closed. (This is subject to change by the resort at anytime.)
