This place was spacious and clean. A few minor differences between the listing and real-life. There is evidence of active renovations being made. The owner was very responsive to communications. A selection of food and cooking ingredients available for use was also appreciated.

The property is very accommodating. I stayed there along with 3 other adult alumni friends. It was within walking distance of anywhere we wanted to explore and relive our past. Patrick is a fantastic host - readily available to answer questions with swift responses. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking to visit Frostburg as a group of 3

The location is excellent for the Storybook Christmas parade, which was so fun for our family & especially my grandsons. The host was very responsive and got back to us right away. Unfortunately, upon arrival we found a note on the second bathroom door indicating it was unavailable due to construction. Toiletries—including a toilet bowl cleaner and plunger—were stored in the middle bedroom closet alongside extra blankets and a baby chair, which felt unhygienic. Additionally, trash from a previous stay was left on the back porch, and the keys were not left as indicated in the check-in instructions, making coming and going less convenient. The place does have potential and a lot of charm, but it would benefit from updates as it is very old, and better organization with the property management team in regards to the bathroom & trash bags left behind.

Conveniently Located

Conveniently located close to downtown and the university. Our second stay here while visiting our son at school. Younger kids love the bunk room. Always a pleasure! Will be back next year.

Fun with fall leaves

This was a perfect place to stay in coordination with the tracks and yaks trip down the mountain. This was a very quaint old home that was beautifully equipped.

Frostburg stay

We had a wonderful stay. This was my first time booking through Vrbo and I was very happy with the experience. Check in was easy, the host communicated with me, and the apartment was as advertised. Overall, a very good experience and I’ll definitely be using Vrbo again.

Once again, excellent accommodation

Second time staying here, the place is perfectly placed for my life. Lots of beds, comfortable, large living space. I screwed up our reservation and the host was very quick with a fix to straighten things out. Great rapport with him, had a nice chat with the cleaning lady on the way out. No complaints. Everything went fine.

Short stay for a tournament

Stay was great. We were in for a football tournament for the weekend. Originally was a group staying but ended up only being my son and i. We really were inly there for a place to sleep. Communication with the host was great through booking and the entire stay.

Great place.

In general, the location is excellent, the building is charming, the staff were responsive to our needs. They did a wonderful job making an old house cozy and colorful. The closest thing I have to a worry is that some of the mattresses were rather well-used, but we still slept on them fine and I would be remiss to leave any bad marks here. It's a wonderful spot, great if you have a crowd.

Frostburg stay

The house was huge, lots of space. We really only used it to sleep and get ready, but it would be perfect for a large family, there were only two of us. Bathrooms could use a little attention, strond mildew smell in the one with washer dryer. In the middle room, the drawers were all filled with stuff so no place to put our clothes. Other than that, the house was charming and clean.

Delfest Family Weekend

I rented the property in Frostburg for myself and family, six adults total, over the Memorial Day weekend, to attend the Delfest Bluegrass Festival in Cumberland, about 10 miles away. Communication with the owner was average for a VRBO rental. I understand that emails are best for keeping a record, but many times it is just much easier to have direct communication. Like when I first drove in the neighborhood and was trying to find the house. This is one of those properties that is just tricky to find because even though it is close to the street, the house number is not easy to see and the house is half hidden by trees and bushes. And it is on a hill that makes watching the road and looking for a house number difficult. Bigger numbers on the front of the house would be helpful. The listing accurately describes a parking area behind the house, once I found it. And the parking area is convenient for coming and going through the back door. But the lock box is on the front door to the apartment, and that door is inside the front foyer. So I eventually gained entry. I was not expecting luxury based on the rental price and property description so I was happy with the overall accommodations. A little quirky was expected and experienced. Back door enters into a bedroom. The two bathrooms are side-by-side, but worked well for our group of 6. The beds are a little old, but ok for a few days. The apartment was overall clean, and the coffee maker and snacks were appreciated.
