Looking for a getaway with a view but the comfort of home, the Hampton House offers both including a spacious boat ramp. This spacious house offers sunset views of the Mississippi River from the kitchen, living room and master suite. Feel right at home with amenities including a Keurig coffeemaker, fully equipped kitchen, smart TV’s, fresh linens and towels as well a washer & dryer on site. Just a short drive to Le Claire and home of the American Pickers! If you enjoy bicycling then this house is right for you as The Great River Trail bike path is right outside the front door. We also have two local parks within a half mile away with all kinds of hiking and activities to do. Brand new hot tub for your enjoyment as well!!

We were in town for a golf tournament for my boys and the place was perfect. This was the best VRBO we’ve ever stayed in. With two 17 year old boys, we had plenty of space without stepping all over each other. The little extras like board games, make-up removers, and cotton swabs were great added touches. The beds were super comfortable and the views were great.

I wish there had been an option for six stars for "accuracy of listing." So often properties do not quite live up to their listing. This one absolutely did. It was clean, spacious, and well appointed. Loved the hot tub, the kitchen, and the usable garage! I can't rave about this place enough. Would absolutely come back and recommend to others (already have, actually).

Decompress

Thoughts of everyday life start to melt away as soon as you go outside and sit on the deck. The sounds of the great Mississippi river gently splashing along the river bank, the beauty of white pelicans floating on the water, and the occasional barge passing by will transform your mind from the over worked, fast paced, computing machine into a tranquille, relaxing, and peaceful decompression of the mind, soul , and the forgotten of one's senses!

Elementary Girlfriends Stay

We had a nice stay. Everything was as described. The owner checked with us via message.Thankfully, the A/C worked well as the temps were in the 90s with high humidity, so we were comfortable in the house at all times. We enjoyed watching river traffic through the large windows and from the new deck furniture in the early mornings!

This was a perfect place for a relaxing "girl's" weekend - we've been friends for over five decades and are from different parts of the country so this was a perfect place to catch up. We took advantage of the spectacular river views from the deck on a daily basis. It was too warm for the hot tub, but maybe next time...

Best Fishing trip ever!

We couldnt have asked for anything more. This place was perfect for a guys fishing trip on the Mississippi River. Fighting and mostly landing huge channel and flat head catfish, carp, drum and bass the entire weekend.Even when packing up to leave I had my pole nearly snatched out of the pole holder but it got away. We will definitely book again next year!

Great place

We stayed just for a few nights while visiting family in Bettendorf. We were given detailed instructions on how to use the keyless entry so there were no troubles getting in when we arrived late at night, which was great. House was clean and beautifully furnished. We all slept great. The hot tub was fantastic on a cold winter night, adults and kids enjoyed it. Cole was kind enough to come same day and fix a wiggly shower rod. The sliding door in the kitchen to the deck takes a bit of effort to open and close properly but it wasn't a big deal. Water pressure was low but we get that that happens on a river--so we had a few moments we didn't think we could flush entirely, but we made it work. Those are just little things, nothing that would keep us from visiting again--we absolutely would! It worked perfect for our family of 6. We appreciated having games to play! Only suggestion would be to have some drinkware options made of plastic. We were a little nervous about the little ones breaking glass. Luckily we didn't. Great house, thanks!

Quiet relaxing river view

The house was exceptional. Clean, comfy & outfitted kitchen & baths. Made for a nice relaxing girlfriends' week. Quiet, safe neighborhood. Sunsets with river view was perfect. We'd rent this place again in a heartbeat.

Annual Sister’s Retreat

Four sisters had a WONDERFUL getaway for our annual retreat. This was definitely one of our favorite places we’ve EVER stayed and we’ll likely come back! The home was comfortable, clean and decorated so cute! We spent 90% of our time on the deck, watching the river, sunsets, barges and boats, including the Viking cruise ship! The kitchen was roomy enough for four women to maneuver in at the same time! Beds and sofa were very comfortable!

Sweet Getaway

We decided to book this VRBO since my fiancé (now husband) lives in Moline. It was close to town/the venue but still far enough where it was away from traffic. This VRBO was so sweet and special. We felt as if we were transported to the east coast with the quiet streets, bike path, and waterfront views. The house was BEAUTIFUL inside and out. They have sweet touches of amenities like the hot tub, makeup wipes in bathrooms, laundry room, board games, fire wood and pit, and big deck area. There is even a screened porch to watch the river from that I will never forget. 1000000/10 would stay again and recommend to others. It made our wedding weekend such a memorable experience and so relaxing.

Bring your boat

This house has its own concrete boat ramp into a section of the Mississippi that is more like a lake than a river. Great fishing, boating and water fun.

Lovely MIssissippi River Retreat

The home was immaculate, well appointed and as advertised. We spent a lot of time in LeClaire but it was nice to come back to a quiet and serene setting with a beautiful river view.

Fun on the Mississippi

You can’t beat the view! The house was well appointed. Very low water pressure in kitchen and bathroom with tub only near two double bed room. Location was great! Would probably stay here again. We come to Moline once a year to gather with family.
