Great location!

Lovely apartment in a great location in Portsmouth, NH. Close to shops, restaurants, and a very nice park. We actualy walked over the drawbridge to Kittery, ME...it was a beautiful stroll! Would stay there again.

This Ceres St. get-away was the perfect spot for our long weekend. The apartment was cozy and had everything we needed, but of course the best part was its location. It is nestled in the heart of everything, walkable, and being close to the tugs and Annabelle’s was an exclamation point to a great stay. The parking pass made life easy to cross the river and explore and Joy, our host, was easy to communicate with and very responsive. Wonderful visit to my happy place!

Great location/Great host

The location is really good for access to Portsmouth. There's a lot of foot traffic on the street below, but you don't hear that in the apartment. It's on the small side, but large enough, with a separate living area and kitchen. Joy is a great host. She's very connected and attends to any issues that come up.

We loved the place and will definitely be back! It was very nice and clean, a terrific location, and had super cool the decor. It was near my favorite restaurant - The Black Trumpet! Sweet place and great location

Right in the heart of downtown within walking distance to multiple shops and restaurants. Great view of the river. The apartment was clean and nice. My only complaint would be not being able to open the window to let in the night air. Have already recommended the place to friends and we would definitely stay here again. Our host was very responsive when we discovered the battery was low on the door lock. Thanks, Joy!

Great Location-Unique Setting

Adorable unit in waterfront neighborhood in downtown Portsmouth. Would be hard to find anything else like it. Cleaners missed quite a few spots to ready the property (including something on sheets) but otherwise place was great. No parking near property but owner provided garage pass for undercover parking a very short walk away. Unusually, refrigerator drawers were completely full of owner's drinks so that limits your fridge space - but if you don't need a lot that's not a hindrance.

So happy you enjoyed the space! It is a unique, historic property in the ideal location in town😊. Really appreciate that feedback! We strive for cleanliness and this is the first feedback we’ve received in that regard. The sheets were freshly laundered, so surprised to hear you encountered anything other than fresh, clean bedding. We will certainly do a thorough check on bedding coming out of the wash in the future for any lint or the like. Regarding the waters, we will be sure to advise guests in the future, beverages provided are available for their enjoyment.
