Beautiful, Breathtaking Wren Condo overlooking Toxaway Falls

The view from our beautiful 3 Bedroom 2 bath Condo will take your breath away! You will go out on the back deck of your 2nd floor condo where you will be overlooking Toxaway Falls, an AMAZING Waterfall that is 350 feet high and 60 feet across solid granite!

Each season offers unique reasons to come to the mountains. The beautiful mountain views are lush and green in Spring and Summer. Autumn’s spectacular foliage and Winter’s icy waterfalls provide breathtaking views.

The front porch is the perfect place to soak up early morning sun with your favorite book or newspaper. The back deck is the perfect place to enjoy morning coffee, relax over lunch, enjoy a romantic dinner, or stargaze overlooking the waterfall and listening to the natural background music of nature!

The Wren offers a fully stocked kitchen and dining area that will comfortably sit 6 people and can accommodate 8. The comfortable living room furniture is nestled around the gas burning fireplace and big screen TV ( Internet & Direct TV provided) The master suite’s large window offers panoramic views of the waterfall and Gorges State Park! All towels and linens are high quality.

As we said, your imagination is the only limit for what you can experience in this area! Hiking, fishing, golfing, shopping, biking, swimming, horseback riding, and dining are all just a 9-iron away. The many rivers, streams, and lakes offer kayaking, tubing, & rafting. The Biltmore Estate and Winery in Asheville provides an amazing tour that will take you back in time. Asheville is also home to tons of craft breweries, live music, the Friday Eve Drum Circle, art studios and galleries, and unique shopping opportunities. Brevard and Cashiers are even closer and both offer fabulous shopping, art, and dining. Brevard Music Center offers evening concerts from May to the end of August. Cashiers also has outdoor live music in Summer. The thespians at The Historic Flat Rock Theatre provide wonderful evenings out. For a more local experience, head to the Lake Toxaway Community Center on Friday nights for western NC Bluegrass and a home-cooked meal to boot!

Transylvania County boasts 250 known waterfalls! Pisgah and Nantalahala National Forest are minutes away and there are many waterfalls and trails in each. Gorges State Park (10 minutes away) has waterfall trails that range from half a mile to 5+ miles. Just 20 minutes away, Whitewater Falls has a quarter mile paved path that gently rises to a spectacular view of the tallest waterfall east of The Rockies. You shouldn’t stop there, though! The stairs to the right lead down to a viewing platform whose view rivals any in the world.
These are the closest hiking opportunities, however, there are 247 more waterfalls to explore within an hour!

Shopping is minutes away in either direction. Within a tenth of a mile, there is a lovely market with staples, a good wine/beer selection, and local organic meat, produce, and dairy products. Next door to the Toxaway Market is a quaint, family-owned pizza place! Just across the street is a coffee/ice-cream/gift shop - something for EVERYONE! There’s a great Mexican restaurant at the top of our road!

If all this is not exciting enough, there’s a family of WHITE SQUIRRELS and a BEAR living in the neighborhood which leads to the fact that if you’re needing to just relax and recharge, the serene, picturesque environment of The Wren is perfect for that, too!
