While this charming Jackson Hole home may not boast central air conditioning, it does feature air conditioning in the common area, which is powerful enough to cool the entire condo. Very impressed with our stay at The Outpost!! It was so clean, modern, close to down-town, and had all the amenities we needed! It was so sweet to come in the condo to a bag of coffee and donut holes from Snake River Roasting Co.! Delicious! This was the perfect home base to explore both Jackson and GTNP!

This place was fine, but pretty limited amenities for the price. The description of the apartment states there is no central AC, but does say that the AC in the living room cools the whole apartment. This is far from true when the days are 85 degrees in the afternoon and the thermostat does not allow a temperature hold longer than 3 hours. So we would turn the AC down, leave, and return to it set at 71 to 74 degrees, which meant the bedroom was closer to 74-76 degrees. Additionally, the dresser was in very poor condition and the oven in my parents’ apartment next door did not work at all. The cooking supplies vary widely by apartment and were fine in our apartment but very limited in my parents’ next door. The property managers were very responsive and helpful when we contacted them which was great. Overall, this place was quite expensive for what you get and it certainly seemed like the owners do not care to update or invest in the property.

Perfect downtown apartment

Staying here was absolutely amazing. Just a short walk from the express bus to take you to the mountain. Quiet and clean. Amazing restaurant just right across the street! Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Close to downtown which was great. The place needs some improvement. The place had an intense smell from either cleaning products or perfume that did not dissipate over the 4 days despite having windows open during the day. It is also very noisy in the alley where the bedroom windows face.

This is not something we’ve heard in the past, and we’re sorry it impacted your comfort during your visit. Had we been made aware during your stay, we would have been more than happy to send our housekeeping team back to address the issue or deliver an air purifier to help improve air quality. We’re also very sorry for the noise transfer from outside. As this is an older building, the insulation doesn’t dampen sound as much as we’d like, and some noise is unfortunately inherent in multi-level properties. One of the trade-offs of being so close to the heart of town is occasional street and alley noise. We completely understand how disruptive this can be, which is why we’ve placed white noise machines in each bedroom to help guests rest more comfortably. We appreciate your feedback, as it helps us improve both our communication and overall guest experience. Wonderful place and location. Clear and timely responses to my questions through Outpost Crew messaging. Only gave 4 stars on cleanliness because there was some popped popcorn in foldout bed and a few spiders and flies to deal with. But overall quite impressed and happy with stay!!

It was clean and can’t say it was majestic. Could see a mountain but the property needs updating terribly bad. Need an elevator in the worst way. We are in our 70’s and handling luggage up stairs was not pleasant. Not bad property but not great

That being said, we are very sorry to learn of the disappointing aspects of your stay. In reviewing your correspondence with our team, we received one email from you regarding the thermostat and sent our maintenance team that day to replace the batteries which resolved the issue. Our phone records do not show any missed calls from your number, or another number showing multiple attempts, so we, unfortunately, do not have an explanation for this discrepancy and we are very sorry that you were unable to connect with our team over the phone. In response to your feedback regarding instructions for the lock and trash, this information is located in the welcome binder within the home. We also would have been happy to provide this information directly had we been contacted but do apologize for any inconvenience. Best location in middle of downtown Jackson

This place was good for what we needed it for, a place to sleep and freshen up while we visited for my friend's wedding and explored GTNP. The place has some apparent wear and tear and could use some repairs and would benefit from nicer furnishings, given the nightly rate. Unfortunately, the price tag is simply to be expected when visiting Jackson! I noticed some remains of previous or current repairs, (poor paint jobs and tape around appliances) so it looks like property management is thinking about it, at least :) ! The best part about this place is the location, and that was a priority for us on this trip. We walked everywhere and loved it. Definitely recommend booking here simply for the location. The bed was comfortable, the welcome gift of local coffee and donuts were delicious and an excellent touch. The apartment was generally clean.
