Quaint Cape Cottage Close to the Beach

This tranquil Cape cottage is in the perfect spot for your next vacation, with a private setting at the end of a little lane, and a winding pathway that leads directly to an uncrowded beach on the Bay featuring glorious sunsets.

One of three adorable cottages on the property, you can rent just one or all three for big family and friend getaways! The lovely, large shared yard is enclosed and shaded by trees where in the quiet you can hear the many songbirds that migrate seasonally through the area.

The location couldn’t be better, with easy access to many wonderful Cape adventures - including the National Seashore, historic lighthouses and windmills, biking on the Cape Cod Rail Trail, excellent restaurants, mini-golf and arcades, and much more! Wiley Pond, with its freshwater swimming and playground area, is just a short walk away. Take a short trip down-Cape and catch a double feature at the local Wellfleet drive-in movie theatre, or have a relaxing afternoon at the Truro Vineyards. The excitement of Provincetown is just a half-hour drive away, where you can explore the shops and hit the piers for whale watching or deep sea fishing.

Each cottage sleeps up to four guests with two bedrooms - one with a double bed and one with two twin beds - and a futon in the living room. There is a full bathroom with tub and shower, and an outdoor shower to wash the sand off after a day at the beach. The kitchen includes a stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster. Or you can grill out with the charcoal barbecue and enjoy your meals outside at the picnic table. WiFi is also standard, with a TV and DVD player available in the living room.

The cottage was super sweet in terms of the amenities and the location. Everything was clean and as expected. Kitchen was well stocked with dish ware and silverware. A slight leak somewhere in the bathroom created a puddle on the floor which we dealt with no problem. We especially loved the quiet location, walk to the bay and the outside shower.

Great cottages

This was our 7th year staying at the newly renamed sea glass cottages! There have been many improvements! Very clean and the location is great. Eric was easy to book with, and his communication was excellent from start to finish, can’t wait to return for our 8th year.

Close to the beach!

Stayed with my husband 2 small kids. Older Small cottage good for sleeping when not at the beach. Clean and has most basic necessities. 10 min walk to the beautiful bay was the best. And close to Wiley park. Just no AC was a bummer but we managed.

The location was excellent, easy to get to ocean and bay beaches as well as great dining options. We did not take advantage of the nearby “walking distance “ beach because the trail was through some pretty dense overgrown paths and there was no option to park a car there. The house was just as pictured in the listing, and the kitchen was well supplied with utensils. The outdoor shower was a plus, once you get over the shock of showering with a tree:) The WiFi was great, however the TV did not work, but that was not a problem for us. The cottage was adequately clean, but the blankets and bed covers were dirty and stained. The cottage met our needs, we are beach lovers and this was perfect in that respect!

Good deal for the price. Great location and yard!

We didn't need much more than a place to eat and sleep and to be close to the bay side beach--and this place was perfect for that! There is a little path to the beach through the woods very close to this property (about 100 feet down Penny Lane) that makes getting to the beach quick and easy. We also enjoyed having a yard area, which is partially shaded by some low trees, which also provide shade for the houses and help keep them cool. Communication response time with the hosts was excellent, and they helped make sure that me and my parents and aunt and uncle, who rented one of their other cottages on the same property, have a good stay. We will gladly return someday!
