Another great week. Such a great location and a great place if you are vacationing with family or friends since there are 3 cottages on the property. We have been coming here for almost 30 years. It is a wonderful location- you can walk to the beach and bike to the rail trail. The driveway was redone for this year which has plenty of parking and it turned out very nice. The outdoor showers come in very handy. The sunsets are the best!

Great location

We have been coming here every summer for about thirty years. It is a great place for a multi family trip since you can rent all three cottages. It is a walk to the beach, a bike ride to the rail trail, and a central location for day trips.

Amazing location, great for big groups

This was a perfect spot for us and our extended family - we all had our own cottage on the property and the short walk to the beach was so convenient. The cottages are all well kept with everything you'd need - each one also has a grill and a small deck. Plenty of space in the yard for kids to play and for everyone to gather. Overall, we couldn't have been happier and we would definitely book our vacation here again!

Great location

We have been coming to this property for approximately 30 years with our extended family. All 3 cottages are great for a group vacation with a large yard to share. It is a walk to the bay beach and a close ride to the bike path and fresh water pond. The enclosed outdoor shower is great for cleaning off before entering the house. Eastham is a great home base for vacation since there is plenty to do in the surrounding area.

Great stay! Less than a half mile walk from the beach. The exact right place for a rustic beach getaway experience. The mosquitos can get quite hungry, like most places get during humid days. The screen doors and some of the window screens need some work and repairing. Bugs seem to get in quite easy, but like I said, a rustic camping experience!

Lovely, quiet little cottage

We loved staying at the cottage, which is tiny but perfect for our family of 3. It was clean and modernized, but simple. Location is within a 4-minute walk to quiet Kingsbury Beach, which is ideal for little ones, at both high and low tide. My only gripe was the food stain on the pillow sham, which made me wonder if they were laundered between tenants, and the mouse we saw in the kitchen, but hey this is New England. Loved it here and would definitely come back.

Sweet cottage near the beach

Down a sandy street and a short walk on a footpath to the beach, this little cottage has the perfect summer feel. Amenities are basic, but sufficient. The location is well removed from the constant buzz of Route 6 but close enough to the major beaches, clam shacks, mini golf places and Wellfleet Drive-in. Better still, Eastham is home to some of the most beautiful and peaceful hiking trails on the Cape. Eric was also very responsive to my requests. I had a great week here!

The location of the property is convenient to Kingsbury Beach and easily accessible to/from Route 6. The cottage itself needs attention as it shows the signs of aging (rotted wood around window frames & screen door). There is no microwave nor comfortable furniture in the living room. The beds are comfortable. There should be notification, nevertheless, that guests must provide their own bed linens, extra blankets, and towels.

Great extended family vacation location

We have been coming to this property for over 30 years. It is a great place to have an extended family vacation when renting all 3 cottages. It is a great location within walking distance to the beach down a path, walking distance to a fresh water pond and a close bike ride to the bike trail. Eastham is a great jumping off point to visit other surrounding towns, to experience the “real” camp. Host Eric was quick to respond. I am reluctant to give a great review because I don’t want to let the world in our family’s happy place. It is a great place for the price. Enjoy the gorgeous sunsets!

No ac no way to put one in bugs aunts front door not working right parking so bad no microwave it was the worst rental going to the cape I been going for 50 years do not rent it bad deal

Sorry to hear that you had an awful time, James, it's certainly unusual compared to the many positive reviews and return guests we receive. I just wanted to note that, in the description for the rental, an AC and microwave are not listed as amenities. I know we chatted on the phone when you had the issue with the front door, where it turned out that it was swollen from the humidity and needed to be pushed open harder - glad that got resolved. Not sure what the trouble was with parking, as there is a designated space for each cottage. Overall, sorry that it was a bad experience for you personally, and hope your next Cape rental suits your requirements better. All the best!

Lovely Cottage in a Great Location!

Our stay at Sea Glass Cottages could not have been better. Located between the bay and a pond (both on the same side of Rt. 6), it was a beautiful, easy walk through the woods to the uncrowded, bay beach. There was a small grocery store a short drive from the cottage, again without having to cross Rt. 6, that had everything we needed. The immaculate cottage was one of three in a grassy yard, with a porch and picnic table, and locust trees overhead. The kitchen was well equipped, right down to the measuring cups and spoons which enabled baking for a birthday during our week there. The bedrooms were cozy, the beds were comfortable, and window fans helped cool the air. The white bathroom, with its shampoo, conditioner, and green body wash that smelled like melon, was flooded with dappled, morning sun; showering was a joy. Just a few minutes' drive away, we kayaked through a salt marsh on a guided expedition. Driving to Provincetown and Wellfleet was easy. Eric was always gracious and very responsive and helpful when I texted. I hope to return to Sea Glass Cottages next year.
