We've recently added 2 arcade style video game cabinets with up tob12 games on each. There is a cabinet full of board games and puzzles. We've also decorated with a large array of Marvel movie posters.. It's located in quiet neighborhood with a city park directly across the street. You can relax on the front deck and watch your kids play! The common areas feel light and airy with plenty of sunlight flowing theough all the windows. Yet, you can sleep all day long after a hard night shift with blackout curtains and a king sized bed. Each bedroom has a 55" TV, so you can hide away from any roommates if you so desire.
Our stay was perfect! Everything was clean, we had a plethora of towels, complimentary popcorn and coffee. Robert, our host was so kind and responded quickly to any questions we had.
We were in town for a friends Wedding. We really enjoyed ourselves and the video games! Great Location and all the amenities we needed! Will definitely book again! Host was friendly and communicative with all info we needed for entry, WiFi and anything else we needed!
Came Down for a disc golf tournament and stayed here at the arcade, place was clean a/c was cold and they even had box fans on the rooms (I need the noise and breeze to sleep it seems). The arcade games made for some fun competition between the wife and I. Will be booking this place again when Iâm in the area!
Quick easy overnight stay! Host was very prompt with communication & had the place clean & ready for us to check in! Love that we had no issues while there & nothing to do at checkout besides leave!!!
I waited a week to calm down so I didnât post out of anger. I specifically asked the owner shout the neighborhood and house. He assured me in was in a safe area. Entering the area there were multiple houses with bars in the windows. There were also multiple that were boarded up. No street lights. Didnât feel safe at all. Upon entering the house, the bathroom, walls, doors and rugs were very dirty. There was a light fixture hanging from its electrical wiring. The flooring was separated and the area rugs were filthy. The place wasnât what I would consider clean, especially since it was being rented out. After being there 10 minutes and seeing the filth, we chose to forfeit the money we spent and head to a hotel a few miles away. After talking to friends who lived in Ft Smith for years, they informed me I was originally staying in a âvery roughâ neighborhood. Glad we left. After expressing what I saw and how I felt to the owner, he insisted it was clean, safe, and basically called me a racist without even knowing the color of my skin. Very unprofessional. Very disappointing and I can promise you I am actually being very nice in this review. I wish I would have thought to take pictures, but I just wanted out of there.
The property met our goals since we were traveling with a dog. It has a nice yard and beat being in a hotel. The most helpful thing would have been a welcome packet outside the door giving us information about the property, such as how to use the security code for the electronic door lock, how to access the wifi, what was expected for dirty dishes prior to check out, etc. The property could have been cleaner as we found lots of cobwebs and we had a cockroach saunter through the house. Also would have been helpful to have some towel racks or hooks in the bathroom. That was inconvenient at best. Some minor improvements would make this a really good place to stay.
We enjoyed the house until it was time for bed. Up until then we had kept the bedroom doors closed so the dogs would stay in the main part of the house. But when it came time for me and my daughter to get ready for bed we let them in bedroom 2. I see them get something from under the dresser and start chewing on it. I got to them and tried to get it out of their mouths. I realized very quickly that what they were eating was rat poison! I began to panic and called the emergency vetâs office, Fort Smith Animal Emergency. They requested that I bring the dogs in immediately. The vetâs office induced vomiting and gave them some medicine. So an overnight trip that was supposed to only cost me around $150 ended up costing me almost $600, due to the vet bill, and a crick in my neck from sleeping on the couch with the dogs so they didnât get in to any more poison.
The owners response to this: We hate to hear that you didn't enjoy your stay, but we wish you the best in all things going forward.
Do not recommend if you are planning to stay with pets!!!
