Rustic Retreat –Seasonal Lake Views – Arrowhead Lake - Plaid Cabin

You'll feel right at home in this rustic cabin, nestled in the treetops. Enjoy seasonal lake views from the spacious 2nd story deck or cozy up to the new gas fireplace. This retreat is the perfect place to return to and relax after exploring, swimming, hiking, or enjoying Arrowhead’s many amenities. Dogs are family too and are welcome at the cabin.

The whole home is accessible to guests, except for the garage space and owner’s closet. You will also have access to the many amenities Arrowhead Lake has to offer. *Please note that the host is not responsible for lake/pool closures due to weather or other extenuating circumstances. Some amenities are seasonal (ex: pool).

This home features a fully stocked and upgraded kitchen, with a new Keurig and milk frother for yummy coffee drinks. Experience the upgraded fire pit with your host-provided s'mores kit.

Two living areas offer plenty of space and the opportunity for separate adult/kid fun, including a board game area! The cabin is tastefully decorated with plaid seasonal décor. All bedrooms offer comfy bedding and plenty of pillows.

**ADDITIONAL MANDATORY RESORT FEE** [to be paid via VRBO fee request following the booking approval] Wristbands for amenities are mandatory year-round for all guests over the age of 6 years old.
In Season Rate (from May 24 to September 2): $8.50 per person per night
Off Season Rate (from September 3 to May 23): $2.00 per person per night.
Vehicle access is $20 per vehicle.
Each rental will be required to pay a $20 transaction fee in addition to the guest/vehicle fees noted above.
*It is important to note that being registered with the community and paying fees is mandatory and must be completed at least 5 days before your arrival date. You will be denied access into the closed-gate community without prior registration and will not be given a refund.
When booking, please have the Make, Model, Year, and License Plate Number of the vehicle(s) you will be driving for your trip. This information is required to register you and your guests with the community.

Entertainment & Indoor Living:
All TVs have either Amazon Firesticks or Roku TV Entertainment. YouTube TV is also provided for a similar to cable TV experience. Fireplace, board games, books, and desk are provided.

KITCHEN: Cooking basics, spices, dishware/flatware, refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, toaster, drip coffee machine and Keurig.

GENERAL: WiFi, ceiling fans, complimentary soap/shampoo/conditioner, linens/towels, laundry detergent, iron/board, hangers, hair dryer, trash bags/paper towels.

SUITABILITY: Stairs (13) required for access to the main (2nd) floor. The 1st floor does have a bedroom and full bathroom.

PARKING: Driveway parking only, for 4 vehicles. Parking in the grass is not permitted.

Easter Trip

The trip was wonderful. House was clean and had everything to make your stay comfortable. Host was great and the welcome gift was a nice little surprise. We were very pleased with our stay and had a great weekend with family.

Everything was so nice with the place. The host were great! Arrowhead lake is such a wonderful place to stay.. They have everything up to date! Great place to rent I’d definitely rent there again!

Great Stay

We really enjoyed our stay at the Plaid Cabin. It felt very cozy and an added bonus that we were able to bring our fur babies. The house was not far from the lake and within walking distance to the beach. I would definitely recommend this home to families.

Ski trip 2024

The cabin was conveniently located near Jim Thorpe and camelback. The cabin was very comfortable and clean with beautiful views and everything we need. We had a great time.

Peaceful getaway

We loved our second stay at the Plaid Cabin! The home is very comfortable and has all the amenities you may need! From the coffee bar, the welcome package, nice towels and even storage bags to use, they don’t miss a beat here! Home a/c was cool enough for 90 degree days. The deck is perfect to relax and enjoy some outdoor space. Home is close to the lake beach and arrowhead lake pool, which we enjoyed daily. We had a great time and can’t wait to return for our third summer vacation!

Awesome family getaway

Our family had a blast at The Plaid Cabin! We had a lovely welcome basket waiting for us when we arrived. The home was clean and well equipped for a family getaway. The home is close to the beach and you could see the lake from the deck, which was awesome. Would definitely recommend and looking forward to booking another stay with The Plaid Cabin later this year!

Great clean house

Wonderful house, plenty of everything one needs on vacation. Very clean and no clutter as some rentals have, enough space for our family to spread out. Kids enjoyed the downstairs play area a lot! We had a great time , thanks for hosting!

End of summer getaway

Adorable, clean property with a great location. Stephanie was very responsive, and accessible for questions during our stay. Well stocked home with plenty of space. Short walk to the beach, with kayaks available to use. Loved the deck which had a nice view. Perfect way to end our summer!

Family vacation

We loved the house, location, and amenities. It was a perfect walk to the beach and parks. The house was super clean and perfectly equipped for us to cook in the kitchen and have nighttime fire pits. I also offered great games during a rainy day.

New Years in the Poconos

The Plaid cabin was the perfect little house for our family and dogs while in the Poconos. Beautiful view of the lake and great amenities. Perfect location to get to several ski/tubing locations and close to shopping and indoor water parks. The hosts thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Will definitely be returning for future ski trips!

WOW!! What a fantastic stay.

There's nothing to think about when you rent this house. Just pack your clothes and go. The house is set up perfectly with everything you need. It's super clean, decorated beautifully and so cozy. It's close to everything. There's a lake, a playground and a lodge, with so much to do. Close by are Kalahari indoor water park and Jack Frost and Big Boulder ski resorts.

Quiet gated community

Our family had a great stay at this Arrowhead lake property. The house was lovely, clean and well stocked. We saw alot of wildlife walking everywhere from deer to turkeys and more. The community was quiet and there were pleanty of things to do.Exploring the lake kayaking, walking the quiet streets, visiting the lodge for a snack or enjoying the sandy beaches and swiming pools....something for everyone!

A relaxing retreat to nature

We had such a lovely time at this property. Everything was a described or better. The house was quaintly decorated, stocked with necessities, and filled with everything needed for a fun and relaxing stay. There were board games and puzzles, the kitchen had coffee, sugar, and other staples, (all individually wrapped) and the beaches and pools were lovely. Just be aware that it is a long drive to stores, so I recommend hitting them before getting to the house. We will definitely visit again!

Peaceful, enjoyable vacation

We enjoyed our stay at the plaid cabin! The home was clean and packed with all the essentials. The coffee bar was enjoyed by myself and my husband all week! We enjoyed going to the beach area each morning with our toddler and then going to the arrowhead lake pool every evening. The community was clean and has plenty of activities for all ages. We enjoyed the board games and the fire pit as well. The welcome basket was a nice personal touch! We can’t wait to book another stay next summer! Thank you for a wonderful stay! Stephanie was wonderful to work with and very responsive.

Excellent stay

We had such a wonderful weekend at the plaid cabin. The cabin was very clean and fully stocked for anything we needed. It also had a bunch of board games which was a nice bonus. The fireplace made the house super cozy while watching the snow fall. The beds were very comfortable which is uncommon for a rental property. The hosts also provided a binder with any information you would need regarding the house along with local restaurants and things to do. You can tell the hosts actually care about their guests and their stay. The neighborhood was quiet with a lot of amenities. This will now be our go-to place when we come to the Poconos!

Perfect Pocono House!

We had an amazing stay at Bev & Steph’s place. The house has everything you could need. It was super clean, comfy and beautifully decorated. All of the kitchen items are brand new and perfectly organized. The beds are all very comfy with clean, fresh linens and blankets. Plenty of space to spread out and a large deck with a gorgeous view. Couldn’t ask for a nicer house in this wonderful Pocono community! The owners were very accommodating and so easy to communicate with! Can’t wait to come back. Thank you Bev & Steph!

House was amazing! Our family really enjoyed our stay. It was in a perfect location close to the beach and the pool. It was right across the street from the lake. The beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked and both sitting rooms were perfect! There were 4 brand new beach chairs we could use for the beach and the pool area. It was nice to walk in and have a welcome basket waiting for us and a note from the owners!! Our dog was also welcomed with a canister of biscuits. House was very clean. The outside deck was large with comfortable outside furniture and grill. The owners were always available with any questions we had while booking. We look forward to coming back to the house again. We have found our perfect house at Lake Arrowhead!

Worry Free Escape on the Lake

This place is amazing. So much attention to little detail made getting away here so nice. It is infant-friendly with doors closing off all stairways and all the child locks work on the doors. Each room has a wireless charger for your devices. The house had snack bags for packing up for the beach and all the laundry and cleaning products you needed. The game room downstairs is a nice escape, especially if you put the kids asleep up stairs. The house is amazingly clean. The Only important thing to know for people returning to the lake is that Rentals now use offsite check-in. I do not remember seeing this before showing up. We went to the main office as we have in the past to be sent back about 10 mn down the road to the off-site check-in. All you need to do is pack your clothes and be ready to escape reality for a while!
