Mountain Mommas Family Retreat at Arrowhead Lake

Mountain Mommas is a well appointed vacation rental home located in Arrowhead Lake, PA aiming to make vacations easier especially for those traveling with littles! There are many child features such as a separate dual family-playroom space, baby gates, and a baby monitor. We also love our dog friends and have a dog crate onsite. Mountain Mommas also has many smart features such as contactless entry, amazon echo dots, a washer/dryer stacked unit, and twin to king bed conversions. The neighborhood is amenity packed!

The space
Mountain Mommas is an Industrial Modern stylized Lake-Mountain Vacation Home while maintaining ample comforts. It is set up to truly feel like home with ample books, kids toys, and gathering areas. Enjoy time outside at our fire pit or venture around the neighborhood on a quest to find all the amenities including multiple lake beaches! the closest lake access and beach is approximately 1/4 mile away from the home and an easy level ground walk.

Guest access
Guests may access all portions of the home and property except 1 owners closet which is locked and located in the upstairs hallway near the bathroom and a locked cleaning closet in the lower level family room, the owners shed which is locked outdoors on the right side of the home, the crawl space, and the attic.

We promise there’s nothing too exciting in any of them! Breaking the locks and taking items from these areas will be considered theft and forfeit security deposit in its entirety.

Other things to note
Our street is nice and quiet and ideally located close to the lake and many amenities!

Our neighbors on either side, and directly across the street are all long time full timers, meaning they live in the neighborhood as their primary residence. We ask that you just please respect their right to peaceful enjoyment in their own homes!

They have been so kind to us and keep an eye on our home when we’re away, and even let us know the home was ok after the recent storms we had! They are good people and we want both our guests and neighbors to continue loving the neighborhood!!

Mountain Mommas now has a whole home generator for added guest comfort in the event the neighborhood ever experiences an outage. The generator “exercises” at 11am on Mondays, there will be no disruption of service but guests will hear it on for appx 20 minutes

As an amenity heavy community Arrowhead does have its own temporary membership fees. These fees are included in your VRBO pricing with the $75 flat fee along with the $6/person/day fee.

We will need information from you including total number of guests, number of cars coming, car license plate number, and driver of each car in order to register your group as temporary members.

We always recommend guests purchase travel insurance whether for our home, or other trips.
