Farmhouse-Retreat Horses, Grapes & Orchards

Recently renovated spacious Chester County farm house (horses, vineyards and orchards). Enjoy the experience of a working farm without the work! Situated between West Chester and Lancaster this is the perfect venue to explore all that Chester and Lancaster Counties have to offer. This is a great setting to get away from it all. This is a great destination during September and October during harvest. Kayak on the pond with the swans or pick apples in the orchard in the fall. Walk the trails with your favorite K-9. There is plenty to do without leaving the property. Please note the first floor has a handicap accessible entrance and bedroom on the first floor.

Do you have horses? We offer full boarding services for your horse(s) on site in one of our nearby barns. There are also ample grazing pastures on the property for your horse.

Separate Note-Please be sure to enter the precise number of guests for an accurate quotation. Over 6 guests will require an additional fee per night per person due to increased cleaning fees, wear and tear etc. Thank you for your understanding.

Perfect getaway for couples or families

Very clean, quiet, and well-appointed country estate. A must-stay for anyone who loves horses or wants to learn more about them. Riding opportunities for all ages are available, and lots of walking trails. Excellent outdoor space. If you love the country and outdoor living, it's a perfect home. We are looking forward to our next visit.

This property is amazing and the house is so spacious and pristine. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen with the large island and well stocked cabinets. Staying on a horse farm was unique and so peaceful. We loved interacting with the horses and the trainer there even gave someone in our party a riding lesson. The house is located within 1/2 hour from West Chester, Longwood Gardens, Chadds Ford, and Kennett Square so there was plenty to do. It was an awesome stay.

Beautiful Farmhouse for Family

We had family come in from out of town and it was the perfect place to gather. The property is beautiful with all the land and horses surrounding you. The house is just as pictured and so clean. We may rent again in the future! Thank you!!

Peaceful retreat

What a beautiful place! Just as the photos show. We enjoyed every moment on this slice of heaven in Chester County. Beds we very comfortable and the house was spotless. I dream of having such a well stocked, gourmet kitchen. We found ourselves torn between staying and watching the horses freely play and roam and doing the things we had planned. Will return some day I pray

Best family getaway ever!

We absolutely loved staying at the farm. Check in was a breeze; simply uncomplicated. The house was clean and spacious. The property was beautiful and oh so relaxing. The kids got to watch the horses, explore the orchard and vineyards and had lots of fun canoeing. David was responsive and super accommodating. We hope to come back again!

Work and relax

Stayed here for a family work trip. Had a fantastic week. The farm was so peaceful and relaxing. Loved walking the property and having morning coffee on the porch watching the horses. Good location for our need. House was spacious and well appointed. Would love to return.

Farmhouse was fantastic. We had a couple of families in for a lacrosse tournament and it was perfect. Kids got to catch fireflies at night. Very convenient to Kenneth square or Lancaster.

Amazing Farm in PA

idyllic, beutiful property with horses right near the house, but fenced in. My family and I will have life- long memeories. This is a great place for kids. Dave was extremely communicative and avilable for all of our needs.

Country Retreat

Equivine house is an amazing home on a beautiful horse farm. The house is huge with spacious rooms throughout. There is a very nice kitchen to cook in and each bedroom has a nice bathroom. The location is rural and very quiet. The heart of Amish country is just a 20 minute drive, and downtown Philly is a little over an hour. We enjoyed our stay very much and highly recommend this property.

Perfect Family Get Away

We really enjoyed this secluded and private farm get away. We had a large group and there was ample space for all. The kitchen/family room was perfect for us all to gather. There were also three different porches to lounge on, with great views from each. We loved seeing the horses all around us and taking walks around the property. The host, Dave, was also super responsive and helpful with any questions we had. Highly recommend!

Fantastic Stay!

I cannot begin to describe what a wonderful experience we had here at Equivine! The house was exactly as shown; comfortable, spacious, clean! It was very well appointed with all yhe basics , and then some, provided for. The hosts were so friendly and responsive. We are so grateful to have had such a wonderful family experience on the farm! Everyone had such a terrific time! Cant wait to come back.

Very beautiful property with everything we needed for a very relaxing New Year’s weekend. Clean, comfortable and spacious. My dog and I enjoyed are morning walks through the property. Bedrooms were well appointed. We loved it so much… we canceled some of our plans and dinner reservations, choosing instead to stay/cook in the home. Thank you!
