Our space is within walking/biking distance to the Strip District, Downtown, PNC Park, Heinz Field, some great local bars & restaurants, and public transport. You’ll love our place because of the ambiance, comfy bed, and the Brooklyn-like neighborhood. Watch Netflix on the 50" smart TV, cook dinner at your well equipped kitchen, sleep in in our cozy bedroom, or soak up life in our claw foot tub!

CLEANING PROCEDURES:

Now more than ever it is important to stay in a professionally cleaned space. We don't "outsource" our cleaning - our cleaners are professionally trained with a passion for what they do! Our team follows an industry-leading cleaning checklist, and our Operations team executes randomized inspections to ensure our standards are met.

DETAILED FEATURES:

➤ 1 BR / 1BA ~apartment in four-story building; four apartments in the building are connected via a shared staircase, but no other areas are shared other than a common laundry area in the basement. Access to the apartment is up the stairs on the first floor.

➤ Entrance: The entrance of the building is on East Ohio St.: a two story flight of stairs is required to arrive at the apartment, with the apartment located at the top of the stairs. Our place is not suitable for people with limited mobility.

➤ Sleeps 2
➣ Bedroom - 1 queen bed - medium plush mattress

➤ Parking: One visitor parking pass is available for street parking. The North Side is otherwise resident permit only, but we can provide you a FREE visitor pass for the duration of your stay. The front entrance of the building is metered; guests will need to walk one or two blocks once parked.

➤ Bathroom: one full bathroom
➣ Includes claw foot tub, shower, blow dryer, plush cotton towels, premium toiletries, etc.

➤ TVs: 50" Smart TV. Note that the property does not have cable. Most apps are free to use and / or you are able to use your cable provider's login info for "paid" apps (ESPN, HBO, Showtime, etc.)

➤ Internet: High speed up / down 400mbps Verizon FIOS

➤ Kitchen: Stocked with stainless pots & pans, knives, utensils, toaster, microwave, drip coffee maker, French press, etc.

➤ Coffee & Tea: Premium locally roasted Commonplace Coffee medium roast whole bean coffee, Cuisinart drip coffee maker + burr grinder, French press, and premium tea selection is provided

Note that our place is in the middle of an economically diverse urban environment on East Ohio St. While it's a safe area, people uncomfortable with urban living should consider other options.

Key Ts & Cs (but not limited to) are listed below.

1. Smoking of any type, of any product, is not permitted in the Property. A minimum $1,000 fee will apply if smoking is detected inside. Smoking outside with all doors & windows closed is permitted, with all butts properly disposed of.

2. People other than those in the Guest party may not stay overnight in the property. Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of Guest. The Host has not represented this unit as an event facility, therefore, additional guests are permitted only with prior notice. At no time may any of these visitors remain overnight or assume any guest privileges whatsoever.

3. The Host is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Host is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.

4. Host allows children with the following stipulations: Guests are responsible for any and all necessary 'child proofing' and inspection of child-related amenities. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

5. There is no daily housekeeping service. While the house has been thoroughly cleaned prior to your arrival and linens and bath towels are included, daily maid service is not included in the rate.

6. Pets are not permitted; any pet being "snuck" into the house will result in a minimum $300 cleaning fee. Service animals are welcome, but per ADA laws, they must never be left behind unattended. ESAs do not qualify as a Service animal and must be registered as a pet.

7. Cleaning fees are paid to assure Guest's arrival to a clean property, not to clean up post-checkout "messes." While we don't ask or expect Guests to clean prior to leaving, we do expect reasonable cleanliness standards followed - garbage thrown away, spills cleaned up, etc. Cleaning required due to excess messiness will result in additional costs, charged at a rate of $40/hour.

8. Guest understands that they are staying in a neighborhood. We expect Guests to respect our neighborhood and our neighbors' right to peaceful enjoyment of their homes. If Hosts receive a valid complaint from a neighbor, Guest will be notified. Failure to rectify the issue may result in cancellation of the stay.

Hidden Gem!
I was visiting family in Pitrsburgh. If youre from a quieter area, this may not be your cup of tea, but the building itself and the location was hard to beat. I felt like i was living the kind of geounded if fantasy of a city dweller that's hard to beat. You're close to great food. The check in process could not be any smoother, and HostWise was as approachable as they were profressional. If there was availibility, i would pick this property again for a Christmas visit!
