Unfortunately, due to an issue with the heat, we weren't actually able to stay in the apartment. However, from the brief time inside, it was a cute, clean and comfortable flat! My positive review is based on those initial observations but also on the fact that when the issue arose, the owner was responsive and helpful and very easy to work with. I feel confidant he is thorough and the problem will get addressed for the next guest. One note-- we have family near by so it was a great location for us, convenient to many amenities, and we knew the area. For those less familiar, some of the surrounding blocks are a bit rough at night, so just use your urban street sense accordingly.

Super-Spacious and Comfortable

A beautifully decorated apartment with roominess and all the mid cons one could want. Communication with the manager was quick and easy, and a small issue on check-in was handled promptly and efficiently. I felt very comfortable with the neighborhood and it was extremely convenient for me as the friends I was visiting live less than ten minutes away.Having on-site parking was really convenient, but the security gate was a bit hard to handle at times. I appreciated the sturdy handrails going up the front steps as navigating stairs is not my strong point. Overall, I found my stay here to be top-notch and will happily return. efficiently efficiently.

Grand, Cozy, and Whimsical

This is one of the most unique spaces I've ever visited. Every detail is thoughtfully chosen, from pillows to lighting fixtures. The space has a unique personality, somehow being grand, cozy, and whimsical all at once. I loved looking at the art and guessing where each piece had traveled from. Just when I thought I'd looked at every detail in the apartment, my eyes would fall on another delightful surprise. Francisco was an attentive host and helped me quickly resolve any questions. I plan to stay here next time I'm in Oakland!

Our host have spent a great deal of time making this old victornia a lovely place. The finishes, the bed, linens, the appliances were all so upscale and made you feel like you were in a special place

Francisco is a Cuban attorney who is now an aspiring interior designer after working in the legal field for over 30 years.

Angel has had an extensive practice as a therapist; now he works for Kaiser Foundation in different capacities. He is originally from Spain.
