Enjoy extra time on your getaway! Our new check-in time is 12 noon and check-out is extended to 5pm, giving you more time to relax and enjoy your stay!

Welcome to your cozy cottage in the idyllic community of Mount Gretna! This charming cottage offers the perfect blend of vintage charm and modern convenience, with a comfortable living space, fully equipped kitchen, and beautiful outdoor areas.

Inside, you'll find a bright and airy living room with plenty of seating, a large flat-screen TV, and a cozy gas fireplace. The living room also features a wet bar with ample seating; a great space for entertaining guests or relaxing with a drink. The adjacent dining area features a large table with seating for eight, perfect for enjoying meals or playing games with family and friends. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials, including an electric range, dishwasher, and plenty of cookware and utensils.  We have a standard drip-brew coffee maker in addition to a Keurig coffee maker. High speed Wi-Fi is accessible throughout the home. We offer convenient self check-in via door code.

The cottage has five bedrooms, each with its own unique character. The master bedroom features a king size bed, jetted tub, and a private balcony. Three additional bedrooms have queen beds, while the kid's bedroom has a bunk bed. All the bedrooms have comfortable mattresses, high-quality linens, and plenty of closet space.

Outside, you'll find a spacious deck with plenty of seating, perfect for relaxing.

The cottage is located just a short walk from The Jigger Shop, as well as the community's many restaurants, shops, and cultural attractions. Both the Mount Gretna Playhouse and the Mount Gretna Tabernacle are within easy walking distance. Whether you're looking for outdoor adventure or a relaxing getaway, this cottage is the perfect home base for your Mount Gretna vacation.

The house was well stocked and very clean. Beds were comfortable. The bar was a hit but could use some cushions for the stools. The layout (to us) was challenging for a large group, and the kitchen was a little small for group cooking, however we would recommend and would return.

This place was amazing! Such a great location and the place is cozy and roomy. The outdoor space is great to sit out and relax. My friends and I had the best time here. We would definitely book the Muhlenberg Cottage again!

Great Family Vacation

Host was very easy to communicate with. I had a few questions and she responded quickly. The house is a bit older but in great condition. Five bedrooms allowed everyone to have their own bed. Very close to Jigger Shop and Pizza. The lake is close and the kids loved it. Will definitely come back.

A wonderful experience. This place is awesome. It was a 5 . We had 3 families and we were all happy. The master bedroom is well worth the stay. It is centrally located for all the fun in the area. The town is awesome as well. We plan to come back next year and I will definitely stay here . Everything was superb. The host is wonderful as well. Keep up the good work.

Family gathering

We needed lodging for out-of-town family coming for my father's funeral and were also hoping for a place where additional out-of-town family could gather after the funeral. The house proved perfect for both. The large, open main floor has abundant comfortable seating that was perfect for visiting together. Our host was very kind and accommodating. The bedrooms are large and comfortable including a huge master suite. The house is older (it's a historical site) and a little quirky in a delightful way.

Adoption Party Trip Muhlenberg Cottage

This was a beautiful older property. We loved all the character of the house! There was plenty of space for everyone, and it had everything we needed for the adults and kids. My 7-year-old granddaughter said she wants to move to PA and buy the house when she grows up, lol.

Spacious, yet cozy

This property was wonderful. The house is beautiful, the outside porch areas are fantastic. Comfortable beds and a clean space. We had some slight trouble figuring out the heat in the master bedroom but the Host repsonded quickly and was very helpful. I would love to stay here again!

Ponderosa Posse visiting PA

The Muhlenberg Cottage was perfect for our ladies trip to visit PA - it was centrally located and offered everything we needed. There was plenty of room for our group of seven, we could all sit around the table for dinner, conversation and games. The centrally located Cottage made it easy for our daily excursions to visit the beautiful area. Thank you, Emily, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Muhlenberg Cottage stay

We enjoyed a fantastic, fun-filled, weekend at the Cottage. Emily was great to work with. Quickly responded to the two questions we had during our stay. The Cottage had plenty of space to spread out and to enjoy a quiet conversation, some outdoor patio time, or the big screen Tv to watch football. The bedrooms were perfect, with comfortable beds. Groomers getaway

The house was a lot larger than exoected. The layout was perfect. Everyone could be together but still be in their own space. The porch was perfect for morning coffee or evening drinks. We were there for the grooming expo so unfortunately didn't get to spend a lot of time at the house but we would all like to come back. Upon arriving you may feel like you are in the middle of nowhere ( which is great) but there are so many quaint shops and restaurants within a 10 minute or less drive. The large driveway was a huge plus.

Spacious

The house was very large and spacious. Everything was clean with nice furnishings. The kitchen had dishes, glasses, silverware, some pans and utensils. We cooked most of our meals there. We brought our own crock pot and disposable aluminum foil pans for casseroles. We brought our son, daughter-in-law and three grandchildren. We visited the Mt. Gretna lake and beach which was a nice family beach, the Lake Tobias Wildlife Park, Indian Echo Cavern, and Turkey Hill Experience which were all within an easy driving distance. It was a very nice family vacation.

Trip to Hershey

The property was very good and well maintained. Would give five ve stars to it . The property manager was prompt at getting back and gave proper instructions and information. Loved the look and comfort of the home . But would have loved if the home had bath wash , shampoo and conditioner for use . Thank you again . Would definitely recommend the property
