Look no further! Our Cozy Retreat offers you the peaceful, quiet, and relaxing space you need to unwind and reconnect while also enjoying the surroundings this lakefront property has to offer. The house consists of plenty of rooms to accommodate large groups or families, the patio area is large to entertain any group or family dinners while enjoying beautiful sunset views. The lake is accessible from the property and has amazing from the dock, the lake water is so clear and fresh, you will want to jump in. The fall seasons are suburb with the changing of seasons and the winters are magical! We are just 8 miles from Boulder Junction.

The cabin is beautiful, with plenty of room for our family. Everything in the home is in excellent condition. Comfy couches, chairs and plenty of comfy beds. Adam was very responsive and easy to work with. Overall 5 stars!

Annual 4th of July Family Trip

The house was great for our family trip up north. Had no complaints, nicely refreshed property, clean and all the essentials on a beautiful lake. Great size deck for outside time, nice boat dock, caught lots of sun and fish!

Our family enjoyed a second year at the Cozy Retreat! This property is a great location that more than meets our needs. We appreciate the privacy, the beautiful lake, and a home that has enough space for 3 extended families to be comfortable. Communication with the owner was excellent. We even lucked out with the weather this year. Perfect! Our booking for next year is already in place.

Awesome stay!

Took a long weekend for snowmobiling, trail access right from the driveway! Great location and tons of space for everyone! Heated garage was also nice for the sleds at night.

Hidden Retreat

Beautiful cabin, large enough for two large families! The cabin has everything you could possibly need, great communication and information from owner, lots of fishing and boating! Overall amazing trip and felt completely comfortable during my stay.

Family vacation

Kids had fun fishing off the dock along with swimming. Lake was pretty quiet when we were there and loved that. Enjoyed the view from the deck and sunsets. We had more than enough room for 5 adults and 7 kids.

Ideal Family Location

Our family had a wonderful time visiting this property. The cabin was spacious for our group of 9. High Lake is not only beautiful, but also a good spot for fishing, kayaking, swimming, and boating. The owner was very responsive and easy to work with. We will be coming back.

Work Stay

We were in the area for work and this property worked out perfectly for us. The house was relaxing and spacious! So much room for a big group of people! The views from the living room are amazing. The back deck was perfect for relaxing after a long day. We even made time to fish the lake from the dock and from a boat during our stay. Everyone really enjoyed their stay and if we are ever in the area again we would love to stay here again!

Plenty of space and great location!

We stayed here in a large group of 12 adults for a snowmobile trip. House was clean and recently remodeled which looked great. Location is awesome as the snowmobile trail was close by and quick as easy access to town. Adam was quick to respond and helped us out along the way.

Tranquility

The home layout was perfect for our family. We especially enjoyed relaxing on the deck, marveling at God’s creation. The fishing on the island was wonderful for the little ones! The board walk has a couple dips if walking is difficult. The host was very accommodating.

Beautiful Property on Quiet, Remote Lake

Highly recommend this cabin for a weekend away to a beautiful part of the state. It's quiet and remote, with plenty to do. The deck overlooks the lake, the catwalk to the lake is well-maintained with a large fire pit right on the water. The main living space has an open concept with a large kitchen. Plenty of beds and bathrooms to go around for a big group! Thank you for sharing your cabin with us.

What a beautiful home! Perfect for large families. To say a large home like this is "cozy" would seem hard to believe but it is. Every appliance and creature comfort anyone could want is here. Nothing to bring except yourselves. Firewood available for evening smores fires and the dock and pier area is perfect for fishing, swimming or just relaxing on the 2 dock benches. Another firepit nearby is available for storytelling or late-night stargazing. High lake itself is beautiful and easy to navigate even for a boating novice. The boat landing is literally right down the street from property.In short, my family has been coming to the Northwoods for decades and we can't think of anywhere we stayed that is even close to this property. Book your memories now before someone else does.
