Nestled amidst the majestic Great Smoky Mountains, Cougar's Cabin offers a spacious haven spanning 2,415 sq ft, ideal for families or groups seeking a tranquil escape. With its luxurious amenities and captivating mountain vistas, our cabin promises an unforgettable retreat.

Bedrooms:
Indulge in comfort in our well-appointed bedrooms. Each bedroom features a plush king bed, a private bathroom, and a lavish Jacuzzi tub for the ultimate relaxation. Additional sleeping options include queen sleeper sofas in both the living room and game room.

Kitchen:
Channel your inner chef in our fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen is complete with modern appliances, cooking essentials, and both drip and Keurig coffee makers. Enjoy added conveniences like an electric kettle with a selection of teas and a versatile toaster oven/air fryer, along with complete dishware and flatware.

Indoor Living:
Relax in the cozy ambiance of our cabin with Roku-equipped TVs in every bedroom and the living room, perfect for movie nights with loved ones. Warm up by the inviting gas fireplace, challenge friends to a game of pool, and control the temperature to your liking with our smart thermostat.

Outdoor Living:
Step onto our two covered decks to soak in breathtaking mountain panoramas from the comfort of the hot tub. Fire up the gas grill for a barbecue feast. Choose from various seating options, including dining areas, an egg chair, and a hammock. Plus, enjoy yard games like corn hole, ring toss, and ladder toss for outdoor fun. Immerse yourself in the awe-inspiring beauty of the night sky with our telescope, available for your enjoyment during your stay at our cabin.

General Amenities:
Your comfort is our priority; our cabin boasts amenities such as a washer and dryer, free high-speed WiFi, towels, linens, central heating and air conditioning, ceiling fans, and an iron with an ironing board. A starter kit of essentials is provided. Additional items may be needed depending on the duration of your stay.

Parking:
Convenient parking is available for up to four vehicles.

FAQ:
Please note that access to the cabin is via door lock, with stairs and a ramp leading to the main level. General assistance is available from 10 am to 10 pm, and emergency services can be reached by dialing 911.

Notes:

Consider travel insurance due to our cancellation policy.
You are in the mountains, so please be aware that you may encounter wildlife such as bears, raccoons, and squirrels.
Drive cautiously due to ongoing cabin construction along the route.
Expect daytime noise from nearby construction activities.
A 4-wheel drive vehicle is advisable in icy or snowy conditions.
Please be mindful of mountain critters. While we regularly treat for pests, we cannot guarantee that the cabin will be completely pest-free.
Our sleeper sofas are best suited for children.
Please note that our well water may occasionally have a sulfur smell or a brown tinge. Drinking water is advised to be brought along.

Awesome Family Vacation
We loved the cabin. Only problem we had a wheelchair bound member and it was not very accessible for her. My suggestion would be to add concrete path around the outside perimeter to accommodate wheelchair accessibility to bottom floor.

Wedding week
Stayed here with family for my son’s destination wedding in Tennessee. Cabin was perfect. Close to town and spacious, too. Large balcony with an amazing view, pool table and hot tub were also great amenities we used. Beds were comfy. My elderly mom needed a handicap bar to get in and out of shower on the main floor- I should have asked but it made it difficult for her. Also, after a bad storm some water leaked in to one bedroom- luckily nothing of ours was on the floor. Owner was attentive, though. A bonus sighting of the northern nights with a mountain backdrop was the perfect ending to our stay.

Beautiful cabin
We loved the views from this beautiful cabin and enjoyed our stay with our family. Our only compliant was that it was not handicapped equipped. I should have checked more carefully. It was handicap accessible, but it did not have a handicap bathroom. We adjusted and made it. Thank you for sharing your cabin with our family. We had a much needed get away!

Our Family Vacation 2023
Beautiful Log Cabin with incredible views of the Tennessee Mountains! My family had a wonderful week of vacation together this past week! The only thing that could have made it perfect was that my son could have been with us! He was unable to be with us this year! We loved the cabin and our time there! Everything we needed was available to us and the owner was kind enough to have thought of every little detail to make our stay the best! We highly recommend this beautiful property to anyone looking for the perfect mountain vacation!

C.A.L.M
C for cold-the AC worked great! A for action-lots of wildlife activity including black bears. L for location-easy to get to and not too close or too far from adventures. M for memories as many were made with family to always be remembered. Great experience with a great host whom communicates promptly if needed. A minor issue was encountered on our first evening which was corrected within an hours time.
