Choice Spot in Carmel

Comfy king sized bed and surprisingly comfortable sofa bed. 2 TV’s and good selection of channels. Friendly and attentive staff. Rustic cabins but very clean. Dog friendly. Quiet.

Basic, but just right!

The cottage had the basic necessities and that's all we needed. We were there to explore and our lodging was for nothing more than to bathe, sleep, use the fridge for leftovers, use the microwave for leftovers and enjoy the bliss of being so close to all the sights and the beach within a decent budget! We'll be back soon!

Great pet friendly cottage

We enjoyed our stay in the one bedroom cottage with our two dogs. Nice quiet neighborhood. It was 1+ miles to the beach. A little harder coming back up some of the hills. It was a great walk for us and the dogs! Place is very clean and comfortable, but not luxurious. I would definitely stay here again!

Quaint cottage

The place that we stayed in was cute, it got a bit chilly at night in the front room area, there wasn’t any heat . It was nice and quiet . They originally didn’t give us the cottage that was was advertised online , but when I returned to the front desk and showed them the picture of the cottage we were supposed to have,they did give us that one We enjoyed our stay

Accommodations were not as describe on website. Didn’t even stay in the unit
cancelled our reservation after seeing the unit. Ruined our whole trip.

Could use a coffee table

Big property, lots of units, good location. Units could use a little spiffying up. For example, in main cabin room, there's no coffee table in front of sofa.

Overall it was just ok
 and for the price I shouldn’t complain. Three negatives stand out: the floor was very dirty- dirt, sand and leaves. The single toilet had a broken handle. The shower was unusable, barely a trickle of water out of the shower head. The bed was comfortable and the microwave and refrigerator worked. Those were the positives.

LOVELY!

The cottages look very rustic from the outside but when you step inside the spaces are beautiful, modern, sparkling clean, well appointed, comfortable and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Temperature control was great. Nice little fridge and microwave, VERY nice bed. The grounds are nice with outside spots to sit, read, BBQ, relax. The staff is VERY nice. Downtown Carmel is around five minutes by very easy car ride away. NOTE ahead that it is pet friendly with a $30 per pet per night additional fee beyond what VRBO charges. A little high but the joy on our dog's face when she stepped into the sand on the dog-allowed beach on 9th Avenue was worth every penny.

Funky little place, but clean and spacious. Nice big tv, and a WONDERFUL King sized bed. We were exhausted on arrival, slept like babies for 11 hours. As cheap as you're going to find around here, and each room is a separate little cottage, so it was Very Quiet.
