Mignon (Animaux domestiques) Chalet sur le lac Crooked - aka, Baby Bear

Ce chalet a son propre quai, un toit en métal nouvellement ajouté avec puits de lumière, et comprend un canot avec la location. Belle 600 sq / ft Trex pont construit dans les arbres élevés au-dessus du lac. Large 2 acres donc beaucoup d'intimité.

Ce chalet est à côté de la plus grande maison d'Atlanta. Idéal pour la famille re-syndicats ou de grands groupes.

Situé sur Crooked Lake, qui est un lac sans sillage, i. e., pas de jet de bateaux rapides ski ou. Idéal pour la pêche, le canoë et la natation! La maison est située sur une colline surplombant le lac.

canapé-lit et lit de jour peuvent accueillir jusqu'à 4 personnes supplémentaires. La chambre principale a un lit queen size. Cheminée, foyer et une terrasse donnant sur le lac. Kayak est disponible pour la demande au moment de la location.

Inclure tous les emboutis, des pots et des casseroles, des draps et des serviettes.


Récemment refait salle de bains avec une baignoire à jets, tous les nouveaux appareils, une nouvelle fenêtre et les cloisons sèches. Très propre, lumineux et moderne.

Easy to find, quiet place. Clean and welcoming when we arrived. Very easy communication with host and rapid replies. Wish we had more time there to relax! Can’t wait to come back for next years Sno Drift Rally, and spend more time here

We arrived about an hour after check-in time, but had no code to get in. When I attempted to contact the host, the listed phone number was not in service. I had to call VRBO to get in touch with her, but was provided with her direct number. Once we got in, the inside is very nice. A cute cottage with a jetted tub. I was so excited! Stocked with spices, pots & pans, a coffee pot and a sparkling clean fridge. We walked onto the big deck out back and the views were breathtaking. The serenity there is unmatched. Unfortunately, the amount of pine needles and moss spores made it impossible to be barefoot, or to want to hold the hand rail going down the stairs. A few of the blocks making the 2nd half of the stairs are loose, so watch your step.The dock is wonky, but it will hold 500 lbs without worry. We didn't use the boat available as it had 6" of water in the bottom. Alas, we caught a few small fish off the dock, and a big bass broke my line. So there are fish to be caught!We didn't use the fire pit as it was full of spent wood and the area was overgrown and a bit cluttered with other water vessels. Back to the jacuzzi tub...all was well and good until I turned on the jets. The amount of dirt chunks that came out were gross. So were the dead moths on the windowsill. All in all, it was a good stay. The bed was comfortable, coffee was good, and we got the 48 hours of serenity we needed. Crooked lake is beautiful, Atlanta is charming.

First the positives: The cottage is on a beautiful lake and is surrounded by trees. It was quiet and peaceful. The cottage was clean, except for some ants that decided to visit us and these ants bit me.Now the negatives: Communication with the host was terrible. Sometimes my messages were answered and sometimes they were simply ignored and never answered.I was sick on the first day and we weren't able to make it. I asked via the message app if we could stay a day at the end of our visit, stating if it wasn't possible then just let me know. A simple "no it isn't possible" would have been fine, but all I got was crickets. One of the main reasons I chose this place was they have a motor boat and I was really looking forward to boating on the lake. Except the boat had six to eight inches of water in it. I know there's been a lot of rain, but I wish the host had said the boat couldn't be used before I booked. Part of the dock also was underwater. So one of the main reasons for choosing this site was not available.There was only one log in the house for the fireplace. The other logs were wet and made it hard to start and keep a fire going.We had hoped for a cozy fire at night.Back to communication: All the host had to do is tell me the issues before I booked, but I feel like these issues were hidden and I would not have booked had I known about them.We would not stay here again.

Crooked Lake cabin

Nice lakefront location. House was average but comfortable. Boats and boating equipment didn’t seem to be well taken care of. Host was not quick to respond to inquiries/questions. Wifi was sufficient.

Baby Bear was the 2nd of the 4 houses purchased in the Atlanta area. The 3 Bears are all next to one another and this one is in between Mama and Papa Bear. Goldilocks is on sandy Clear Lake 10 minutes north of the Bears.

While the smallest of the 4 homes, it has the most charm.

This house is often rented in conjunction with Papa Bear given it's location next door. This is great for family reunions or larger groups of friends and is discounted by 33% when rented as a group.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

This Permalog home is very energy efficient - warm in the in the winter and cool in the summer with one small A/C unit. The new green metal roof with skylights add charm and really lights up the living room.

The new bathroom has a jet tub and was completely redone in 2012. The kitchen is fully stocked and the 49" HDTV has most all of the Direct TV channels including HBO and sports channels.
