This property is so incredibly special! An absolute hidden gem. It has all the modern touches you need but with vintage charm! We loved the big windows that gave open water views and we loved sitting out on the porch having our coffee in the morning. The home is clean and accommodated four adults perfectly.

Location was very convenient for our wedding. Cabin was comfortable and scenic. Will definitely stay again if in the area.

Cozy cabin and clean. The beds were clean and so comfortable. The area is very quiet at night. Wonderful little fishing dock and our son caught over 15 fish of various kinds and sizes. Huge variety of birds for birding and photography enthusiasts. The cabin is a perfect location for visiting many historical sites in the Richmond and Petersburg areas. Loved our stay!

Cabin was clean with a great view of a small lake. Outdoor lighting for the hot tub and fire pit was nice. As described, the cabin is tucked away down a long country lane.

The cabin is exactly as described. It is a rustic getaway. The pond is lovely. It rained for our weekend so we didn’t try anything outdoors. But the hosts were very responsive.

We love this spot. It’s a little slice of heaven for our family. Hot tub, lake to swim and fish, fire pit by the lake, big canoe to enjoy on the lake, tucked away and private. My 9 year old son loved fishing and landed many blue gil, a few bass, and even a catfish. It’s just such a peaceful spot while having modern needs such as WiFi - which we rarely used with the abundance of nature around us. Highly recommend this wonderful spot.

Amelia was an absolutely amazing host! She generously allowed us to host our wedding on her beautiful property and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for our special day. This was truly an amazing experience. We absolutely loved the secluded property and the peaceful environment. The water was perfect for kayaking and fishing, and our dogs loved to swim although it was a bit cold for us other than the hot tub! I wish we could have stayed longer and we would love to come back anytime it is available.

Excellent getaway from the spectacle of the track

My son and I stayed at the Cabin Tucked Away while we attended the NHRA Virginia Nationals at the Virginia Motor Speedway. The cabin provided the perfect getaway from the track - a nice quiet location away from the spectacle. Thank you!
