Magnifiquement décorée, cette villa dispose de deux chambres à coucher, de deux salles de bain, d’une grande cuisine et d’un espace salon / salle à manger. La chambre principale a un lit queen, la deuxième chambre une paire de lits jumeaux et il y a un canapé-lit queen dans le salon. Ocean Dunes est situé à l'extrémité sud de l'île le long de South Forest Beach Drive et à une courte distance de Coligny Plaza et du parc de Coligny Beach. Le complexe Ocean Dunes est un établissement situé en bord de mer à environ 70 mètres de l’océan. En plus de la nouvelle piscine en bord de mer, nos clients bén��ficient d'un service Internet sans fil gratuit et d'un accès au centre de remise en forme du Players Club, doté d'un centre d'entraînement complet et d'une piscine intérieure chauffée. Vous aurez également accès au bar-grill Oceanside du Hilton et au Starbucks.

Short walk distances to the beach was nice, We only got to swim in the one pool instead of the nicer pool next to our villa.

The master bedroom is by stairs so people going up and down sound like elephants overhead bed. The entire complex has soaking wet rugs on outside and smells like mold, patio has molded carpet. Apartment was clean. Location great. No beach view. Hilton music was nice in evenings. Kitchen and amenities were stocked well.

Exceeded expectations

It was lovely to see that the place appeared newly refurbished, likely updated, compared to what I read in recent reviews. The pool was totally fine, clear and clean. It was Labor Day weekend, but never felt crowded. Access to the beach was perfect. My only complaint: the beds are super basic. If you have any back issues, I would advise against. I had a nice interaction with Vacation Time that managed. Seem like good folks. Overall a 5 star for us! Thank you!

Good location

The property was in a good location, near coligny but still quiet. It was oceanfront but the unit is on the side of the building, there is hardly an ocean view out of the balcony, just way to the right side and far. The unit itself was clean, furniture was comfortable, kitchen was nice with newer appliances, could have used more start materials like a kitchen sponge. As others mention, it does overlook the other resorts pool. It is just outside the unit you can walk to the pool area and then a short boardwalk to the beach, the beach was not crowded when we were there, but also wasn’t the best weather. It was nice that it wasn’t a huge complex or building, and we loved the heated pool esp since it was unseasonable cool when we went. Management was helpful with doing a later check in.

Quick getaway

The location was great. Big issues with mildew smell that emanated from underneath the property and was rampant in the condo. Hard to take. The mattresses were pretty bad. All of them. We all had sore backs. The cable in master went out. A leak coming from above apt gave us concern and we had to stay up late to let the maint person figure out issue. That was actually great—they sent someone over to troubleshoot very late in the evening and we’re on top of situation. The pix are deceiving with regards to the pool. The condo patio is just a few feet from a great pool. But we didn’t have access. The actual condo pool was quite small and unappealing.

Thank you for your review. We have inspected the villa and could not detect the smell you were speaking of. We also checked the mattresses, which were just purchased at the beginning of the year and there did not seem to be any problem with them either. We know that mattresses can be a very personal preference. Some people like them soft and others much firmer. We apologize if they were not to your liking. We're glad we could take care of any issues quickly. We do have great property managers. We do disclose in the listing that the pool that you see from the balcony belongs to the Hilton and that it is not the pool used by ocean Dunes. We apologize if you missed that. Perhaps you'll come back again and pic something oceanfront. Thanks again.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Very close to so may restaurants and shops, steps away from the beach and the heated pool was great! We would definitely stay here again!

January 2023 Stay in #101

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pros: nice, safe area, well-stocked kitchen, plenty of closet hangers. TVs in all rooms, plenty of bathroom linens, nice finishes in both bathrooms and kitchen (granite and travertine floor tiles.) We also had some literature in the coffee table to get us started on our island journeys. The villas are close to other amenities such as shopping, the beach, the Hilton pool bar and entertainment. The staff at Vacation Time was super about helping us each time we needed something. Beth even brought a shower stool from home for us since my wife was still recovering from surgery.Cons: The elevator was down the entire stay requiring us to change from our scheduled top floor ocean view unit to this 1st floor right by the outdoor staircase located just behind the headboard of the master bedroom. In 101, people ran up/down the stairs all hours making sleep difficult at best. The mattress was only a queen so we had to split up into 2 rooms. The living room furniture is uncomfortable Big Lots quality so we borrowed a neighbor’s lawn furniture for the duration. Heaters ran intermittently quite loudly. The living room TV cut out frequently but jiggling the wires did help. I’m sure Vacation Time would help if they could have.

Almost ready to rent

Great property. Nice improvements esp in bathrooms and kitchen. AC in master bedroom didnt work for 2 night and internet was horrific(seldom worked). When I notified the front desk nothing really happened. Had to go outside to use hotspot (at&t didnt work inside property) for working vacation this messed things up. Also is not ocean view unless you have a go go gadget neck.

Close to the beach

The balcony does sit next to and overlooks the adjacent properties pool, but the pool for use with the condo is very close as well, towards the beach. Very easy to get to the beach, short walk, easy to run back to the condo to refill snacks/refreshments. Standard dishes/appliances for beach properties. Management Co. was headed out the door a bit early, had to use the "late arrival" protocol even though I was there before closing (although not by much), not the most cordial, but then again it limited my interaction with them.

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean upon arrival! The location is super easy access to the beach and we loved the location on HHI.. easy bike ride to many restaurants and shops and sea pines area! There is no beach view from condo and the balcony is really right outside of the new Hilton pool ...picture needs to be updated. The vacation club rules indicated you were not allowed to leave towels or sand toys on balcony. This meant we never used the balcony... due to the close proximity of the Hilton pool (no privacy) we did not sit out there and then not being able to hang wet towels was frustrating. Many other units allowed it and even provided shelves for chairs and floats. Please note HHI now has a mask mandate. We were not made aware of this and came to the island not prepared. All in all it was a great vacation!

Great location. Nice unit

Enjoyed our week! Dishwasher broke half way thru the week and a part had to be ordered so had to wash everything by hand. Wish units had their own washer/dryer. Our unit overlooked the beautiful pool of the Hilton next door. Overall pleased with everything but is slightly small for 6 people to stay.

Reviewer Comments: Vacation Time of Hilton Head staff was awesome to work with from the time of booking to the end (thanks for allowing me to use your "business center"). The only thing I recommend is to replace both twin mattresses, provide a key rack at the entrance to the door, sheet pans needed (we bought 1 and left it), add towel hooks on patio and more in bathrooms, and wooden spoons/spatula. Oh, lite out above kitchen sink! Thanks for a great vacation!

We had 2 adults and one teen so it was spacious and comfortable for our group size. It was an easy bike ride to the coffee shop at Coligny Plaza, really good margaritas at Java Burrito, and perfectly cooked scallops at the casual Sea Shack.

Love it except for the construction

We were not told about the construction when we rented the room, but were given a discount when we asked for one. I love Ocean Dunes and have been coming here for 20 years. I just wish they would have told us about the construction.
