This newly renovated north shore lake front property boasts the most ideal location in Nelson. Featuring stunning views, an exceptionally private beach - located one mile from town, 30 mins from WH20 (ski hill) and 5 mins from Nelson's most popular hiking trail.
The three bedroom, two bathroom home has a custom kitchen and dining area - perfect for entertaining. The finished walkout basement offers a full equipped mud room for you to dry out your ski or beach gear.
Although only listed as a three bedroom, the recreation room can act as a semi private fourth bedroom with a queen sized pull out couch. There is a separate lockable detached shed for your sporting gear. Please note that the home has a strict no hosted events/parties policy. Max occupancy is 6 people. All registered guests/visitors must be pre-approved through property manager. Also - while we love animals, we cannot accommodate pets.

Voici pourquoi lâhĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement
The half mile lake house is situated in a perfect little Kootenay community. Located within 30 mins of WH20, fresh tracks are waiting for you. Ski season starts Dec 1st, and ends first weekend of April.
Located right on the property, our super private beach is usable all year round. It is common to see kayaks gliding by on the glassy morning lake all year round. You are welcome to use ours and see for yourself.
We particularly love having a winters eve fire on the beach or just gazing at the lake and the mountains from the hot tub. It gets dark early in Nelson in the winter (4:30pm) which makes for unbelievable star gazing.
You will not want to leave.

Please note that we do not recommend this property for anyone with mobility issues. There are a few different sets of stairs to enter the home, and stairs down to beach.
While you are staying at Hidden Half Mile, you will have exclusive access to the property (that is - there are no other occupied dwellings onsite). The property is quite large and the beach is super private and sandy (although water levels are high in the spring everywhere on west kootenay lake). The beach has a fantastic beach shelter that is ideal for beach dinners. The beach has a fire pit. The main house has a large deck which also has an outdoor dining table, umbrella, barbecue etc.
The lockable spacious shed has been cleared out for guests to store their sporting gear.
The main house has an upstairs and walkout basement with a mudroom fully equipped to dry your ski boots or beach gear (to to make a mad dash to the year round hot tub).
