The house comes equipped with everything for a perfect beach vacation. Chairs, towels, cooler, umbrella, beach buggy. Great location, a short walk or bike ride to multiple beaches, restaurants… 5 minute drive downtown/ Thames st Newport ! Perfect for our family of 4 with We can’t wait to return !

The house is in a quiet residential side of the larger Newport area. There are restaurants, coffee shops, etc. that are walking distance. Grocery store is a short, easy drive. The wharf and Newport activities such as Cliff Walk will require driving. There is off street parking should you decide to get a rental car.

Great house for a small group 10. Can't beat that location - convenient to downtown Newport and Middleton spots. Quiet and peaceful when you want to relax.

The house was convenient for walking to the beach and local dining. It also was good for runners who could do a four mile loop without crossing streets. It has a quiet vibe and cozy back yard for relaxing. You get a glimpse of the water and plenty of sun on the deck.

This property was a great option for our multi-generation family vacation. Laura was super communicative and responsive to questions. I was initially slightly hesitant about the basement room and bathroom, but it actually worked out great, and the bedroom still felt cozy enough. We very much appreciated all the beach towels, umbrella, and wagon which was a huge added convenience. The outdoor grill was excellent and easy to use. The location is perfect with multiple beaches nearby, a nice bike ride into Newport, and plenty of good food/cafe/activities in and around both Newport and Middletown. We couldn't have asked for anything more and had a wonderful week!

Lovely property, with a gracious host who was able to help out with an early check-in request! Thanks so much again! Only notes: "Ocean views" are a little generous from the property, but it is just a short walk down through the neighborhood to get to the water. But a lovely, quiet neighborhood and walk. The basement bathroom shower was much nicer than the upstairs one. After one sad shower in the upstairs bathroom with a trickle from the shower, we all decided to use the basement shower, so I would suggest checking that out first! But otherwise the bathrooms, kitchen, bedrooms, and property were lovely. Beds were very comfortable memory-foam too!

Enjoyable stay near Newport

We enjoyed our stay. Location especially was fantastic - walkable to the beach and very easy to get in and out of downtown Newport.

The home was clean and had plenty of room for our multi-generational family trip. It was close to beaches, and to downtown Newport. The only downside was that we visited during a heat wave, and the AC was not working. However, the host was incredible at communicating and doing everything possible to help the situation. If the HVAC issue hadn’t happened, it would have been a five-star experience!

The situation is fixed now, and we have ordered a completely new HVAC system, which will be installed as soon as possible. The house was just as listed. Very clean and in a great neighborhood. There was plenty of parking and we enjoyed having a place that wasn’t a hotel as we were there for a week. I would stay here again!

Great house in a great location. The neighborhood is very quaint and a short walk to sea...The owner, housekeeper and maintenance person were great communicators and are available should you need them.
