This place was very good for what we needed on our fishing trip. We could cook or walk to the local bar and restaurant. There was plenty of room to park my drift boat in front. Communication with Justin was excellent.
If you want to stay in the heart of Craig this is a great value and very nicely equipped. Take a hot shower after fishing, cook a great meal in the kitchen and hit the hay in a comfortable bed!
The house was clean and conveniently located for our fishing trip to Craig. The queen bed was a little on the soft/saggy side, but otherwise no complaints!
If you are in Craig to fish the MO this place is right across the street from the fly shops. Itâs very convenient for the fly fisher. Room to park the drift boat off the street too!
Tried to get in touch with host multiple times. No phone number provided. No response to emails.
Hosts need to do a better job of responding to guests. Very disappointing!
Great location in Craig. Walking distance to everything.
Only thing I would change is replace the couch woth a Futon or bed so 3 fisherman can sleep comfortably. Open space is great after a long day.
Check in was easy. Just got the text for the door key combo and that was it as far as communication. The place was clean and neat. Perfect accommodations for a two day stay. Good price and great location. Right across from the fly fishing shops and near local bar. đđ
Points faibles : Communication, exactitude de lâannonce
If it was a different time of year i might book again due to convenience for trout fishing. However, the AC is a floor unit and the vent was bad and tore sometime during the day causing hot air to vent inside. I complained online when we arrived that i needed a fan or something. No response. When we came back from fishing the next day, the indoor temps were as high as the 95 degree outdoor temperature. After barely cooling the first night, the second night was horrible! I specifically booked this cabin knowing I would need AC. The AC was not enough to cool the size of the room, even overnight. Room was cute, liked the bed, kitchen and decor. Very functional for a fishing cabin. As long as outdoor temps lower would be fine. Enjoyed fishing with Ria.
Overall, great location. Walk to restaurants and river. We stayed 2 nights and discovered the air conditioner wasn't hooked corectly so it was useless. Unfortunately, it wasn't fixed before we left. It got pretty warm and having the air would have made a difference. I would suggest having a few steak knives, salt and pepper, and maybe tea for the non coffee drinkers. Maybe also a larger TV, as it is difficult to see from the couch.
Property is strategically located in this trout fishing section of the Missouri.
It should be strongly emphasized there is very poor to non-existent cell and internet service in this area of the Missouri River Valley. It also should be noted that though the cottage is set up to cook, THERE ARE NO GROCERY STORES CLOSE BY!! One needs to buy all their food in Helena or Great Falls before arriving if you plan on cooking. There is no place to get breakfast. The restaurants (burger places only) are pricy. Craig is totally focused on the fishing with three fly shops and over run with drift boats, drift boat trailers and extended cab pickup trucks. There is no gas station & no convenience store.
