L'Edelweiss Haus offre l'un des meilleurs endroits sur Snowshoe Mountain pour une famille (ou multi-famille) des vacances de ski. La maison est situé entre les villages de raquettes et Silver Creek. Snowshoe, offre le transport gratuit de notre situation à tous les endroits sur les deux stations. Une fois que vous arrivez, garer les voitures et oublier de conduire pour le reste de votre séjour. Nous aimons ça!
La maison dispose de 2 cuisines complètes, 2 lieux de l'incendie, bain à remous privé, couverte porche, balcon arrière et un feu de camp.

Nous pouvons facilement accueillir plus de 20 personnes de tous âges confortablement.

Perfect Mountain Retreat

Our family had an amazing time. The house is great for a range of ages and there is a ton of space to spread out and enjoy the relaxing nature of the mountain. It appears that you can have a wonderful experience any time of the year. Can’t wait to get back.

Great Location, Great Owners

The house is great with multiple living spaces. Adults had their space and the kids had theirs. Huge outdoor space that we didn’t even utilize. Owners were excellent in their communication and were quick to address things as they came up. Shuttle service was great to get to the slopes, getting back was a challenge due to the lack of cell service on the mountain. Look forward to seeing the rest of the renovations that the owners are doing this spring!

The Best House in Snowshoe!

This house was the perfect set up and layout for our 3 families for a great ski trip over the President's Day weekend. Tons of room to spread out, plenty of bathrooms, and such a convenient location. The owner was a great communicator and sent a lot of helpful information before we arrived, checked in to see if we needed anything while we were there, and answered all my inquiries promptly. We loved the newly remodeled decor in the house and the hot was great after a full day of skiing. The kitchens were well stocked with everything we needed. It was super easy to catch the shuttle and we never had to wait more than 10 minutes, even on the very busy holiday weekend. Such great memories and we can't wait to go back, thank you Charles!!

Family ski trip

The owners have thought of EVERYTHING!! If there’s a slight chance you’ll need it - it’s there. The home is super comfortable and set up perfectly for large groups of varying ages. Lots of TV’s and gathering areas for everyone. The kitchens are the best stocked kitchens I have ever seen. Plenty of everything for a super large group such as ours. We will be back!!

Excellent winter getaway

Just enjoyed a long weekend at Snowshie and this wonderful. Perfect size fur large group with multiple living spaces. Easy to call shuttle and head straight to the slopes. Convenient to brewery and equipment rental. Check in was seamless. Will be looking to come back ASAP!!!

Excellent location, everything a big family needs!

We really enjoyed this property. It was great having two kitchens and all the bedrooms were really nice. It was awesome to be so close to Snow Creek for ski rentals and also drop offs from Silver Creek or The Village is the local bus was too busy. Absolutely loved the sunken in hot tub. Was a little closed in for our family of 16 to all gather together in the upstairs kitchen and family room, but we did enjoy the upstairs loft a lot. Plenty of kitchen utensils and cooking apparel. Great communication from Charles and Kim - we just didn’t really need anything! Property manager was great with plowing snow for us! We had an amazing very white Christmas!!

Great house with all the right things

The owners had been amazing leading up to our rental. Communication and accuracy was definitely beyond what we typically expect. Super happy that we chose this house for our stay with our big group. Everything was super comfortable and accommodating.

Great summer getaway for our large family get together.

The property was amazing with beautiful views. Our family comfortably fit with 8 adults and 10 children. Two kitchens made food prep and storage simple and efficient. Front porch rocking chairs and swings allowed for a great spot to relax after morning hikes. Great hiking trails right on Snowshoe Mt. Even though Snowshoe Village was closed much of the week, it still had a lot of outdoor adventures to offer. Owners made us feel very welcomed and cared for! It was a perfect getaway from the busyness of life. Thank you for a great week!

First Family Ski Trip

We had 16 of us and everyone had a bed to sleep in! We were hoping to find a ski in/ski out place, but with the shuttle it was super easy to coordinate. A little busy on Saturday so had to wait longer, but usually wasn’t too bad. Old Spruce Brewery was in walking distance as well rental place. The hot tub was great and the views were amazing. I’d definitely stay here again. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of bathrooms. The 2 kitchens was nice too for storing drinks.

Big Groups Welcome

This house was perfect for our group of 17! Plenty of beds for all and more than enough different living areas that everyone won't have to be crammed into the same room all the time. We will definitely be looking in to staying here again next year. Thanks again to the homeowners!

Ski weekend with friends

We had a fabulous trip with 6inches of snow and a great cabin to fit all 15 of us!! Kids and adults both loved the house and we walked to the Brewery across the street and hung out and rented equipment across the street at the Snowcreek Mountain Sports. Snowshoe/silver creek bus system was convenient too! We did have a lot of people showering at once in the evenings so a tankless water heater would be a nice addition but overall we loved it!!! The owners were so easy to contact and quick with questions and responses. I would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here with 2 other families and had a great long weekend of skiing. The owners were incredibly responsive and communicative which was very nice and the property was just as expected. Our kids had a great time and the set up of the house worked out great for everyone including 9 kids and 5 adults. We would definitely recommend it!

Plenty of stuff for the adults and kids to do. The best part is the daily highs are normally in the low 70s and at night it drops to the high 50s. We will have the new fire-pit ready to go!! A+ for The Edelweiss Haus at Snowshoe - great house & location

Our family of 12 had a wonderful time at The Edelweiss Haus at Snowshoe. Pictures are accurate description of rental. Plenty of space for all & the beds were super comfortable. Great location for skiing & tubing with access to the shuttle bus. The hot tub was very popular after skiing. Kitchen was clean and well stocked to prepare meals with dining space for all to sit at the table. We would absolutely rent The Edelweiss Haus again and recommend without hesitation. Owner addressed minor issues immediately and were a real pleasure to work with. The grandkids had fun with the foosball table and didn't want to leave Snowshoe. The only thing that would have made our holiday vacation even better would have been more snow! View of sunsets off the new back deck were spectacular. Highly recommend The Edelweiss Haus for a perfect ski trip to Snowshoe.

Great stay!

We stayed at this house with 3 other families the weekend before Christmas for a ski trip. It was a great place to stay with kids and an easy shuttle ride to the slopes. Owner was easy to communicate with and always available.

A great place for family gatherings in a highly sought after setting. Delightful for recharging.

This updated home is both spacious and welcoming for single and multi family gatherings. The setting is private and yet very convenient to activities at Snowshoe Village and Silver Springs alike. All the conveniences of home, and then some can be found here. We particularly enjoyed the deck and the jacuzzi under the stars. This large home offers several gathering areas to simultaneously; share stories of your day’s adventures, watch a movie, play games, or just chill out with a good book. Some days it was just hard to make ourselves leave and venture out. The owner is friendly and responsive and truly enjoys sharing this family treasure with others. Seems genuinely interested in making sure your stay is an enjoyable one. Informs there a many more updates to come. We look forward to returning to this home again, and think you’ll want to come back again and again as well. PS - WiFi access in the home is over 14x faster than what we get at our own home.

Great location and a beautiful house

This is a beautiful house that is located in a beautiful area of West Virginia Everyone is always very friendly and there are lots of things to do... Snowshoe has lots of activities plus the Cass Train has numerous train rides and the Radio Telescopes are definitely a must see... Numerous water falls and caverns to see... Lots of wildlife to see and photograph
