Stayed at this property while attending a wedding. The house was very clean and perfect for our needs. The homes across the street appear run down but we felt safe the entire stay. Paris was very quick to respond.

Shelby stay

House looks to be recently updated and was ok but was in a neighborhood that was "iffy" and did not feel safe. Over half the nearby homes were in poor condition and unkempt. Reported to owner that kitchen and bathrooms were not thoroughly cleaned.

Garbage can overflowing when we arrived, (outside ) The oven was filthy, kitchen sink leaked underneath cabinet, stained carpeting living room, toilet flush handle broke, toilet seat loose and broken, the counter Formica was broke and cut my arm. The house across the street from the rental property was not VRBO standard neighborhood. Very disappointing. Can I get compensated at all?

Wedding Weekend

We had a great time because of friends we were with. House was nicely updated and check-in/communication with host was great. However, the neighborhood is being revitalized and was extremely run down. Pics are great but very deceiving about area you are driving into.

Shelby

Clean, well appointed, nice amenities, thoughtful additions. It was a great stay. Paris is amazing and so fast to respond. She made sure everything was just right and more. I didn’t enjoy the neighborhood but that’s a personal choice as I prefer quieter but again that’s a personal choice. There was nothing unsafe about the area it’s just right in the heart of the city where there’s a lot of activity and I didn’t pay attention to that so that’s on me. Otherwise it’s a perfect place for an overnight or a full week stay like we did. We’re moving to the area so will likely be back again before the move. Loved the welcome snacks provided and the games.

Home vs hotel

Very nice home for our family to stay. Better than a hotel. Private but can stll be together. Neighborhood was quiet and close to everything. Highly recommend.

We had a few issues with cleanliness but our host Paris got back to us quickly. We enjoyed our stay with family for our youngest daughter graduation. We would go back

Comforable and Pleasant

The home was beautiful, cozy, and clean. We had a couple issues with furniture, but our host was incredibly attentive and quick to accommodate. The house was walking distance to downtown and the neighbors were friendly. Paris was a wondeful host, quick to respond, and very pleasant to work with. We definitely recommend.

Welcoming home!

I want to say that our stay in Shelby, NC went fine. The home had everything we needed to visit and entertain with family. The home is very spacious, clean and cozy felt like home away from home. The owner was quick to respond and resolve a issue. I would definitely consider staying again when visiting NC. Thank you !

Nice Personal Touches

Check in was simple. Property manager was very responsive. Cute little personal touches that welcomed us to the property. Everything was as listed. Nice little property for our stay.

Comfortable Stay

Paris was very responsive and accommodating. A minor mistake with check-in was promptly rectified. Stayed for my daughters wedding at a venue in town. Our son and his family rented the house across the street. Worked out perfectly. Would recommend for accommodation needs inside of Shelby. Thank you!
