Stay at a roomy semi- private getaway with a country feel but 5 minutes from town. 4 Bedroom Home on an acre. Build a fire, catch a fish in the bayou in the back or throw a football in the backyard. There is no through traffic and its on a cul de sac with a large driveway. Walk around the circle neighborhood for exercise. Kids can ride a bike and skate in the driveway. The Covection Oven, glass cooktop and counter space galore in this kitchen make it a chefs dream! Fully stocked kitchen. There is only one Tv in the living room for movie nights. Take time to reconnect and make memories. Games are in the Tv Cabinet. There is so much to do in Cajun Country whether you want to hunt, fish, eat great food, ride 4 wheelers, boating, and shopping for antiques or cajun finds go to Evangeline Downs Racetrack and Casino.. Tony Chachere Seasoning is 5 minutes away. There is also a church and hospital minutes away. Let us know how we can help you plan your perfect stay.

Beautiful home. Large kitchen with all you would need and plenty of sitting options. Thank you to the host for providing free snacks, coffee, and many other items that made it a very comfortable stay. Very peaceful, residencial area. Fellt very safe and the home was close to anything around town. Cozy feeling on all the rooms! You will love it here. Highly recommend it.

Everything was great! The house was super clean and very nice. The main bathroom was really nice. The kitchen and dining area accommodated our large group so we could cook and eat together comfortably. Angela was prompt with information when we had questions.

Great Place

The house was great. It has everything we needed and they even left us some waters and snacks. The beds were comfortable and the house looked clean. We came in for my daughters wedding.

Great spot for a business retreat

The house is in a very quiet neighborhood, conveniently located near most amenities you might need. My partners and I held a business retreat here and truly enjoyed our stay.

Great property and greater hostess

In a cul de sac so you have a lot of privacy and room. We were in town for a wedding and it hosted my family well. Property Hostess was very responsive on communications and that’s always appreciated. Mattresses were a little softer in all the rooms than we’d like, but that’s just a personal preference; we’re all firm mattress folks 😉. Highly recommended property if you’re visiting that area. 5 stars!

Made us feel right at home

This place was perfect for our family trip. It was more than enough room for 4 adults with the 4 bedrooms. The home was clean and even better than the pictures. This will be our home away from home when visiting our Opelousas family. Thanks so much.

An Amazing Weekend

This property was perfect! Everything was very clean and my family and I felt right at home. Angela (the owner) was one of best host we’ve had with all of our Vrbo experiences. She supplied everything to make sure we were comfortable from the snacks to welcome us to the personal toiletries she left out for us. She was very tentative and offered an open line of communication from moment we inquired about the property and even after our stay. When traveling back to Opelousas, we definitely desire to stay here again.

Great Place with everything you could need

Very clean property with everything you would need during your stay. Convenient to I-49 and all stores in Opelousas. Open floor plan layout and very spacious house. You won't be disappointed in this gem.

I lived in this house with my husband and 3 children as they grew up. We've remodeled and refurnished the home. They loved it here and you will too! I am a realtor and my husband is a real estate investor. This is our first short term furnished rental. We are excited and hope that you have a great stay. We have lots of ideas for things to do and see while you are here if you want to venture out. If not just relax and enjoy yourselves and take time to reconnect!

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

Large yard to play and large driveway for kids. No through traffic to worry about. Privacy and neighborhood with a country feel. Look out of the windows at the trees and yard.
This home is large and a joy to have a family gathering and the kitchen is great for cooking and baking. This home is within 20 minutes of some great restaurants and great places to hunt, fish, boating and shopping are within 30 minutes to an hour. So much history and quaint small towns nearby.

This home has lots a privacy on the left and has lots of trees around and visited by squirrels and lots of birds, on a cul de sac, near I-49( 2 minutes) 5 minutes from Opelousas General South campus and 10 minutes to the North Campus of Opelousas General.
5 Minutes to Tony Chachere Seasoning. 15 Minutes to Historic Steamboat Restaurant on the Bayou. It’s a peaceful place to stay and unwind and large enough to have a small family gathering.
