Ocean House #1501 is a east corner gulf-front 3 bedroom 3 bath condominium located on the 5th floor in building I overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. The unit is approximately 1300 sq ft with views of the gulf from the living room and gulf-side master bedroom. The condo has a fully equipped kitchen with a washer and dryer. There are 3 full baths with either a tub/shower combo or a stand-alone shower. The gulf-side master bathroom is accessed via the bedroom and hallway. The street-side master has an en suite bathroom with a custom tiled shower and the middle bedroom has an attached bathroom with a stand-up shower.

King, Queen, Queen, Queen, NO Sofa sleeper. Sleeps 8.

Ocean House I and II are 9-story buildings with 6 units per floor located 1 mile West of Highway 59 in Gulf Shores. Ocean House has a large seasonal zero-entry outdoor pool and a small kiddie pool. The property also has a grilling area that services both buildings I and II. Minimum age required: 23

Parking passes are purchased on-site at Ocean House at the guard house or office located in building I - CASH ONLY. There is a maximum of 2 parking passes per unit and the cost is set by the association and is subject to change at any time without notice.

STAY AND PLAY

This rental comes with our 'Stay and Play Package', which includes complimentary tickets to the best area activities including; golfing, deep sea fishing, dolphin/nature cruise, amusement park, zoo and movie rentals. Each rental comes with our "Stay and Play package." Some restrictions apply.

*The 'Stay and Play Package' begins on the scheduled date of arrival and is not available on day of departure. Services are non-cumulative and non-transferable. All services are subject to change, subject to availability, and weather permissible. The 'Stay and Play Package' does not apply to monthly rentals.

Great spot to stay!

Stayed here with some friends for Hangout Fest - the location was great, the place was clean, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming! I recommend Ocean House to anyone that wants a great beachfront condo in Gulf Shores!

Great family getaway

This was the best property we have stayed in , in years. It is not a huge hi rise and does not have hundreds of units meaning no long waits for elevator, etc. we also loved not having a ton of people on the beach in our area. This was our first time in Gulf Shores and we will definitely be back.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Not a bad experience overall except for feeling like the staff had and unlimited supply of customers, no warmth shown towards guest and everything had to be within their “rules” (of which it seemed like 1000). The check-in and out process was just as rigid and cold. I could give MULTIPLE specific examples of how that process was that way, but I don’t really care as I won’t be back, and I’m sure the place will be booked regardless.

Satisfied but unsatisfied!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: You can NOT bring your own tents for the beach! We were vacationing with toddlers who needed protection from the sun, so we had to do beach chair and umbrella rental to the tune of $355.00 for 3 days! While we were unloading and carrying things to our condo, two chairs got left outside our door, and before we knew it, they had been taken to lost and found. My daughter forgot a very expensive baby monitor in their room, and after multiple attempts, we have yet to recover the monitor. However, the condo was clean, and in a great location. I’m just not sure we will vacation here again with all of the rules and regulations!

Beach erosion is an issue the beaches are facing right now, so only single point umbrellas are allowed at this time. Beach restoration is due to begin in November of 2023. Everyone is more than welcome to bring their own umbrellas and chairs though, to avoid having to rent them. We did receive one phone call about the baby monitor, which was never found in the condo. We have an excellent housekeeping dept, which does turn lost items in, and then coordinates with the Lost and Found Coordinator in the main office. -Gulf Shores Rentals
