During the summer, guests will have unencumbered lake access via the private dock, this property sits just thirty feet from the shores of Blanchard Lake. Guests can also access Glacier National Park via a fifty-minute drive and the Whitefish Lake Golf Course is just five minutes away. In the winter months, guests can take full advantage of the lake’s frozen tundra by ice fishing, ice skating (if the conditions allow), and cross-country skiing. Whitefish Mountain Resort is a twenty-five-minute drive so there’s always plenty to do no matter the time of year. This property also features a private study and Starlink internet making it a great option for those who are looking to get some work done during their vacation.
The Space:
This cabin features three bedrooms and four bathrooms within its 3,500 sqft footprint. Guests will park in the circular driveway and access the property through the front door. Entry to the property reveals a sunlit great room with a fully stocked kitchen that features high-end industrial appliances and custom finishes, a dining area overlooking the lake with seats for six, and a cozy living area flanked by a smart tv and a wood-burning stove. The main level also features a full bath, a laundry room, a spacious master king bedroom with a walk-in closet, and an ensuite bathroom. The ensuite bathroom includes dual vanities, a custom tile shower, and an oversized jetted tub. Additionally, the main level also grants access to the large wrap-around deck which offers uninhibited views of the lake and forest abound.
The lower level is a walk-out basement and provides guests with a private study with a large desk. This room is ideal for folks that need a private quiet area to work during their holiday. The sliding glass door in the study provides views and access to the lake.
The top floor includes an additional master king bedroom with a walk-in closet and an en-suite bath. This room also grants access to a small private balcony. Opposite the upstairs master, sits an additional living area that includes a large sectional couch, a custom stone fireplace, and a bunk with a twin on top and a queen on the bottom. This floor also features an additional full bath, a triple-twin bunk room, and an additional guest room with a queen bed.
The entire cabin is clad with aged tongue and groove pine boards, gorgeous hardwood flooring, and elegant décor that accentuates the rustic feel of the home. Windows are plentiful throughout the space which provides for excellent views no matter the room.
Other Things to Note:
Glacier Getaways kindly requests that only those who know how to use wood-burning fireplaces utilize the stove. Please never leave a fire unattended.
Glacier Getaways strongly recommends a four-wheel drive vehicle or snow tires during the winter season.
Due to Flathead County Environmental health code compliance, the maximum number of guests allowed to stay in this unit is limited to six adults/children.
Guests will not have access to the garage.
