Good Stay

My family and I enjoyed our stay and appreciated being close to Cedar Point (11min drive without traffic). The interior felt recently updated and was relatively clean, though not quite to the standard you’d expect—just not clean enough to feel fully comfortable. Some rooms were missing pillows for sleeping, which would’ve been helpful to know in advance. The neighborhood was quite noisy and was somewhat sketchy at night, which might not be ideal for families with young children. Overall, it met our needs, and the property manager was responsive and easy to communicate with.

I would recommend it.

The door code did not work when I arrived, so I called the property manager and he quickly reset it and had it working within minutes. The neighborhood and house was not quite as nice as I anticipated based on the photos, but it was still worth my money.

Clean updated spot with lots of room

Recent remodel inside, lots of space to cook or sit for at least 8-9 people. Large bedrooms, plenty of TVs. Excellent large island for food prep or gathering around for drinks. Located very close to the shore and places like the Jet Express or Barrel House. Not the best neighborhood but nothing to be concerned with other than a little noise from the bar across the road. Plenty of parking (I think, at least we managed to fit a van, truck and trailer without being towed away). If you’re going to be a few days with a large group, bring trash bags as there were only a few provided. Thermostat was locked to 72, it was well over 90 degrees the first day so not quite the relief from the heat you’d hope if you’re used to running cooler. Overall very good stay, would recommend with confidence.

Loud, Sketchy Neighborhood

Overall the property was very spacious and accommodating to our family. The kitchen was very nice and well equipped (trash from previous renters was left behind and only one trash bag for our close to week stay was provided). Laundry in unit was great as we were visiting for a baseball tournament. There were plenty of towels and linens. However, the walls and windows were paper thin. You could hear every loud bass, motorcycle and firework outside the place. We had issues with AC unit and were told to turn off the unit as the “condenser was freezing up.” With temps in the low to mid 90’s it made sleeping at night difficult. The surrounding neighborhood not nice and about 10-15 minutes from any restaurant or grocery store. We made it a point to be back to our place before dark because we didn’t feel safe. Our friends would not visit due to this issue as well. During the second day (of six) of our rental the owner showed up and entered the property without any prior notification. Luckily I was in the kitchen and saw someone approaching the door. Overall it was a disappointing time in the rental as compared to many other experiences. The exterior of the building could use some cleaning and maintenance as well (several spiders and bugs).

We enjoyed the stay, property and owner. Train was a little obnoxious, but that is out of anyone’s control. The only issue we ran into was that most places were closed in that area. You had to take a short drive to restaurants which was about the only negative.

Very nice!!

The Penthouse was very neat and clean. The bedrooms were big and the beds were very comfortable. This rental has a lot of floor space. The kitchen and dining areas can accommodate lots of people, which made this a perfect place for our family gathering. It was a little noisy outside at night but we used the fans to drown out the noises, so we were fine It was also really close to Cedar Point. I would certainly rent it again! Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay there.

Work trip

Great place for all of us to stay under 1 roof. Easy access. Good parking (Driveway and Street). We had 2 vehicles and the downstairs renters had 3 vehicles. Plenty of space for all. Inside, was clean.

It did the job

Our stay was ok
.however
.the owner or whoever must have a cat. We couldn’t even use one of the bedrooms because it spelled so badly of cat pee. Other parts of the place did as well. This will prevent me from staying here again, it was that bad. I hope the owner rips out the carpet, it spelled and was worn down. It just kind of felt dirty. Everything else was fine. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was nice. Doors could use a good wipe down, lots of grime all over them.

Great Place for the Family

The open floor plan created the perfect environment for togetherness. We loved the place and are already making plans to come back in the summer months. Host is amazing and extremely responsive to our questions and concerns. Highly Recommend!!!!

Lovely Penthouse

Property was easy to find. The penthouse really is lovely with the 4 large bedrooms the 2 lovely bathrooms (our grandsons the shower in Master. the 2 livingrooms were very comfy and nice. Our favourite spot was the the kitchen dining area. It was so massive the island is now on my list for my home as well as the kitchen sink. The dishes and appliances were really very nice. If I might suggest if there were some plastic cups, plates and bowls for smaller children that would help with worrying if the kids were to drop and break by accident. Fortunately for us that did not happen. I would have to agree with one of the previous guests that it is not soundproof. There were constant visits from many motorcycles accross the street in the evenings. Lots of revving of leaving coming back, leaving and revving again. It was bothersome. Not something the owner has any control of, just thought to mention if anyone with small children were interested. Other than that we loved our stay. And I rated 1 for communication with Property Manager, as we had none.

Wonderful Wide Open Place

This is a great place for large family groups. Plenty of beds and space. The host was great and was very accommodating. Also helped fixed an issue that was caused by VRBO. Very thankful for all their help.

Awesome property, clean and family friendly

We loved staying here. The house was very nice inside and had plenty of parking. The kitchen was so nice, we cooked so much in there and plenty of equipment. Very nice owner too. So easy and great price! Only complaint is windows are on the thinner side, and we heard some street noise at night so bring a white noise machine.
