The two community pools are open until Labor Day including brand new pickleball courts! Guests are reminded to take care in leaving the pool keys at the property upon checkout.

"Fore' A Good Time" is located in the prestigious Cobbly Nob Resort, adjacent to the Smoky Mountain National Park and seconds from the award winning Bent Creek 18-hole Golf Course. Before your tee time, enjoy your morning coffee on two attached decks which overlook timeless views of the Smoky Mountains. In the evening, relax next to the fireplace, grill up some grub on the grill, decompress in the outdoor hot tub, or head into town to experience everything Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge have to offer!

Love nature, but don't love the crowds? We are just 10 minutes from the Greenbrier entrance of the Smoky Mountain National Park which offers easy and moderately difficult hiking trails, swimming holes, fishing spots, and mountain biking - all without the traffic of the main park entrance.

Our 3-level cabin is equipped with an indoor dining area, as well as outdoor seating on the decks for you to utilize to eat, drink, relax, and enjoy. Bedrooms on each level are equipped with cozy, king size beds, Roku Smart TVs, and full bathrooms with tub showers. Our two leather couches fold out into brand new queen size beds. On the lower level, the game room is the perfect place to stream your favorite shows and movies on our 65" TV, or go for the high score on our electronic pinball and sit-down multicade arcade. We have a fully equipped kitchen for meal prep including a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, Keurig, and dishwasher plus cutlery, cookware, mugs, dinnerware, and more.

We are located 20 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg and approximately 30 minutes from Pigeon Forge where you can enjoy Dollywood, dinner shows, go-carts, and countless other attractions. Visit the Arts and Crafts Community Loop, compete at the Rocky Top Sports World complex, play a round of golf, or take the Gatlinburg Sky Lift to the top of the Smoky Mountains! No matter how many times you visit Gatlinburg, you'll always find something new and exciting to do during your stay!

From Memorial Day to Labor Day, guests are welcome to use either of the 2 Cobbly Nob community pools. Roads in the community are private, fully paved, and cleared. The cabin is located on a mountain, but it is not difficult to get up or down. The road to the cabin includes a few switchbacks and a couple of moderately steep portions but nothing a small two wheel drive vehicle and mountain-experienced driver can't handle.

We provide all towels and linens along with a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, trash bags and dishwasher detergent. For those with extended stays (3 or more nights) we recommend bringing some from home or purchasing locally.

BUGS AND CRITTERS

Fore' a Good Time is a cabin in the woods and although we have a pest control service that sprays quarterly, it is entirely possible you will see some type of bugs both inside and outside. Leaving the doors closed behind you will prevent some. On rainy days especially it's common to see millipedes trying to find refuge indoors. NEVER leave food or trash outside and always watch your step! It is bear season! We have black bears that frequent the neighborhood. Please remember that these are wild animals and should be left at a safe distance.
