The bungalow is a recently renovated single story home tucked back at the back of a private drive. Guests have access to private woods, a stream, a field, fire pit, charcoal grill, two decks, and a covered front porch. There are 4 bedrooms that can comfortably sleep up to 10 guests. A brand new addition is an amazing outdoor shower with hot water and with a view of the woods. If traveling with children we do have a pack n play, high chair, child friendly cups/plates, and baby bathtub, electric outlet plugs available. We welcome pets as long as it is communicated in advanced. We have Wifi available and the cell service in our area is good.

We are located right outside of the city limits of Fayetteville on Route 16. A 7 minute drive to the center of Fayetteville, a 10 minute drive to the NRG bridge/National Park entrance, 16 minutes to Hawks Nest State park, and 15 minutes from Cathedral Falls. Close to Grandview and Sandstone Parks.

We had a great stay here! The cabin was clean and stocked with everything you could need. There are plenty of places to sleep which worked great for our party of 5– everyone got their own bed!

This was the perfect get-away for us. The home is nicely updated, has plenty of character, the decor is tasteful, the setting was very private, and it is well stocked and maintained. One of the best vacation rentals I have experienced.

If cabins could be a spirit animal this one would be mine. I loved it. My family did a 9 day road trip staying in 3 different wonderful VRBO places and while all were great this was the only one I could say felt the most like I could really see it as home. We had a blast doing things in the surrounding area and coming back to a cozy cabin. Highly recommended!

An absolutely wonderful stay! The home was spotless [opening the door to WHITE floors was very impressive], beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail was thoughtfully prepared, making us feel right at home. The host was kind, responsive [we had minor GPS issues], and truly cared about our experience. This was one of our favorite stays during our trip, and we would gladly return. Highly recommended 10/10! Not an issue for us but do know there is a "small-ish" bridge to cross and parking is for normal sized vehicles.I drive a crew cab 8' bed truck21.5' long.

We had an absolute wonderful stay. The cabin was clean, beautifully decorated, and had so many useful things. Hosts were lovely to communicate with. Our kids loved playing the board games available and were happy with the close proximity to the Canyon Rim Visitor Center and Bridgewalk. Would absolutely recommend this stay.

This location was ideal for our trip to explore New River Gorge National Park. The house was cute, clean & stocked with the amenities of home. Our kids & dogs loved it. The hosts were prompt with responses when we had questions. Excellent rental across the board!

This cottage was perfect for our quick weekend getaway. The house is perfectly clean and has everything you need. The furniture and linens are all snuggly comfortable. Our elderly chihuahua loved his bed in front of the propane fireplace. Fayetteville is convenient and has lots of great restaurants. The New River Gorge park and Hawks Nest park are both close by with lots of outdoor adventures. Great little weekend vacation, made perfect with our stay at the cottage.

We really loved the location which is at the end of a stone lane. Close to amenities and pet friendly. We happened to meet the owners at check-in, and they were very gracious! We would stay here again.

Beautiful spacious home. There's a stream that runs through the property that sounds mesmerizing. Liz was great, answered any questions that I had promptly! Too bad it's winter, I would've tried out the outdoor shower!

Overall, we had a good stay and this home provided what we needed. We loved that the driveway was great for our kids to bike ride. We enjoyed the front porch and game selection. The location was convenient. The bathroom was nice and kitchen well stocked. Decor was cute and furniture comfortable. - Our slight disappointments were that there were no longer bunk beds in one of the kids rooms, as had been pictured. Also, only 1 of the 2 pictured hammocks was hanging, and unfortunately not very functional, as the post was very loose and hammock drug the ground unless wrapped around the post extra times. There were also low hanging cable/internet wires I was worried kids or dogs would run in to as they played in the side yard. Also more mouse activity and droppings through the house than ideal but we do understand the difficulty in controlling this in a somewhat vacant home in the woods.

Wonderful home in quiet location

We loved this home! It felt like home away from home! Lovely property in very quiet area. We saw deer multiple times a day! It's a short drive from all things New River Gorge. Well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, great shower. One of my favorite homes we've stayed in.

Great location!

Great location and home worked well for us! Very easy drive to the NRG bridge and visitor center and downtown Fayetteville. Could probably use a deep clean at the end of the season, but we were comfortable for our stay!

Originally from Pittsburgh, PA I have been traveling all over WV for the past 30 years. I fell in love with the beauty of the area, the spirit of mountains, and a love for the people that make up the communities our properties are located in.

We loved the privacy of the property while being so close to the NRG, the town of Fayetteville, and the parks.

Only a 7 minute drive from the main hub of the NRG you are close to all of the action but being in the privacy of a cabin with all of the amenities of home. We remodeled the entire property and have made it an oasis for friends and family to gather and make memories. With over 4 acres, a large fire pit, private woods, stream, and multi level decks for entertaining and relaxing it is an outdoor lovers paradise. You may see deer in the field, a hummingbird stop at the front porch, and squirrels running through the trees while sipping your morning coffee. We are located in a certified dark zone that is perfect for star gazing and have a telescope available for you to use!
