Welcome to one of the most desirable properties on Big Star Lake, a beautiful all-sports lake located in the heart of the Manistee National Forest.

This modern lake house has two bedrooms (1 queen/2 twins), a full bathroom with tub/shower, living room with gas fireplace beautiful kitchen with spectacular views of the lake. Main floor entrance features a 28' x 12' screened lakefront porch, the perfect spot for your morning coffee or evening cocktail. Upper level windows span the lakefront offering the best views. The sugar-sand beach is perfect for kids, with a slow grade into beautiful Big Star waters. Enjoy swimming, sunning, stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing, or simply relax and enjoy the beautiful wildlife in this tranquil setting. We've equipped this home well, so just pack your bags and head to the lake! *Owners reside in neighboring property.

First Family Vacation

The guest house was perfect for our family stay. When we first got there, there was a sweet card and cocktail mixer to thank for booking. The home was very well maintained and stocked with all that was needed for our stay. The property was very clean. The view from the windows was gorgeous! Wonderful to be able to walk right out to the beach. It was quiet and comfortable during the evenings. Communication with the owner was very easy and gave detailed directions on getting to the home. She also allowed us to the deck during our stay for family meals as no one was in the main house. Thank you for the care and attention you give to the details and cleanliness of your home. Will be booking again in the future!

Location. The beach is perfection, and the all-sports lake is great for fun activities as well as just relaxing near the calm waters. You will love the renovations made in May 2023 including a new full kitchen with granite island with seating for 4, new vinyl plank flooring, and new, comfy living room sectional. This house is the perfect little space for a small family, or friends get-away any time of year. Enjoy the amazing views of the wide-open beachfront from the upper-level living quarters, or ground floor screened-in porch.
